Can I change from a closer to a starter?

Four years deep into my closer career and I’m curious if I can change to a starter? I don’t see any options when initiating conversations with coaches or my agent.
I’m guessing it isn’t an option but I’m hoping that I’m just missing it.

Call your manager. The option to change should be there.

@Tandil1368_XBL unfortunately not. My only options any time I have checked are to ask for more work in the pen or “just say hi”.

How far along are you? The end of month manager meeting isn’t offering anything like that? I haven’t made a closer yet this year.

Oh man, I don’t get end of the month manager meetings. I’m starting my 5th season. I haven’t met with the manager 1:1 since I got called up.

I was hoping so but not seeing anything. Tried the contact manager thing at the end of the season and then in spring training and still only getting the option to ask for more work in the pen. Guess I’ll just keep trying at different times.

I haven’t tried it yet this year but I believe you can discuss your role with your agent who will contact the club on your behalf

Honestly I hope it’s just that the last update messed it up, so at least there is some hope for a change down the road.
