I will have made about 250K today once everything sells. Been a fantastic day with no bots and no lazy morons putting in 10+ buy/sells orders and leaving it for hours on end to cripple the margins.
How you ask? I reverted to my old method while at work. Use remote login playstation app and flipped like we all had to do before there was no app.

I posted that and by no means am I confirming that’s what’s happened. It’s based on feedback I see with people getting “restricted” messages when trying to get on the website, this leads me to some sort of anti-bot throttling. No one has been banned, everyone still has access to the game, so in my experience, there’s some throttling going on. What those parameters are, only SDS knows.
I do agree that at this point, SDS should’ve put out some sort of statement, when the masses speculate, it usually doesn’t go well.

my method never had me spending hours on end flipping IN the market. I would login, pick a filter and go to town placing buy/sell orders on 100 different cards at a time. Go to a meeting/get some work done for 45 mins to an hour then come back and cancel what didn't buy/sell and repeat the process.
Over the course of an entire 16 hours or so I MIGHT have 90 mins max IN the market. This was always the method I used before the app (even still did that when the app came... never did the multiple orders of the same card that every idiot does now because they are just looking for the most braindead way to make stubs then [censored] they they can't make stubs anymore.
Hint fellas: allowing 10+ orders on a card at a time is what cripples margins. There are not enough pack openings to cycle through all the buy/sell orders. Today, with no app (and no bots) the market was FLYING. Stuff was buying/selling in seconds.

@aaronjw76_PSN ok so not to ask for to many details on ur method but I wanna try and want in. How do u know what cards are going to make u coins ? Cause I only know the 10 buy order method. But this sounds a lot more efficient.

HOW do you even know if you are banned? The app has been back up for me for a couple hours now. Have you tried logging out and back in?

If what Steve is speculating is true its because they are casting a wide net at first so the bots are caught, with some collateral damage (you) initially. Then as its refined people like you shouldnt be blocked.
Of course, its speculation and as others have said the lack of communications is the issue.

It's not more efficient in the past two years because more use of the app and rampant nature of the bots. I've had to adapt which is why I'm only at 1.5M studs (for reference, I would have had that in the first 5-7 days in previous years). But prior to? It worked fantastic for me as it allowed me to not be sitting in the market.
IF SDS can get the bots out and with the 20 card limit... we may actually get back to a truly health market again for everyone.

FYI, I've never bought into the notion that SDS themselves deployed bots to control the market and prevent flipping. Today was the true confirmation of that. I was buying and selling at a pace I haven't seen in two years with the app being down.

I don't use the website. I saw someone on here say it was back so I logged in and it was back running.
edit: I did just log in to the website and no issues.
