CPU hitting stinks

Why is the CPU so bad at hitting? Its a CPU! Can't it emulate a good player - or emulate actual human players?

I'd rather face a CPU on Legend difficulty than an average human player. The human feels like a bigger threat to score.

You mean why does fastball up-and-in and breaking ball low-and-away work to near perfection with no adjustment? That's probably intentional for grinding purposes.

Because if it was more realistic 95% of people would whine every time the CPU actually scored a run against them.
