Because improving and QAing the game certainly wasn't it.
It's impressive that they charge us money to be their frigging QA department.

Tell me about it. I wanted to finish a big legends roster for opening day, probably my final roster, but will probably have to wait weeks because simply scrolling the cap menus randomly crashes the game. It's completely random and likely due to memory leaks because this company decided to keep stacking code on a crumbling engine from '07. The game's likely going to break, and hopefully SDS has an actual plan.
