Future stars is a joke

Not a fan of prospects and future cards either. So many ACTUAL cards they could use from seasons from past legends. No need to play make believe with so many cards. A handful would be ok, with legit top prospects maybe. But not the top prospects for each team.

I don’t like anything that doesn’t accurately represent a player, including future stars and prospects.
Right there with this post. All these prospect and future stars cards are just wishful thinking.
Wishful thinking and wildly inaccurate. Just think, when they first came out in... 17? Bregman was a gold and Moncada was the highest rated one if I remember correctly
To be fair, SDS didn't know at the time that Bregman would be a cheater. Lesson learned I guess.

I’ve always wondered if they’re trying to prepare us for a split away from Topps, by relying more on their own created cards.

I’m not sure how this will work, especially for teams that don’t have in high end guys in the upper levels. The Mets would need to pull out Mauricio as any diamond FS, currently we have Tebow and Peterson, which aren’t high end prospects. Mauricio is a switch hitting SS with 60 grade power.

Tebow, high end prospect? Maybe in his own head. Guy hit .163 last year in AAA...

Guess Vladdy Jr is getting a 125 Future Star card next month along with a Trout Future HOF card with a 275 overall.
I would think this would be a better opportunity to release a higher overall Bo.
-
on one hadn't I get it......but on the other hand all the gold prospects are garbage so why be mad about your team getting a usable future stars card

Possible, but kind of makes sense theyd be all about prospects and young guys early this year given they were all added into the game this year. The duplicate cards this early are silly, but the idea of the program makes sense, and who knows what the plan was with it if these guys were actually playing

Maybe next month they can put out a 99 future legend card
Don’t give them any ideas lol

This board for years complains about how everyone’s team is loaded with the same legends
SDS releases better versions of current players cards to increase variability in teams and this board now complains about that.
This fanbase is toxic.

Better versions of players who have done nothing at the MLB level to warrant them, to devalue both their own existing cards as well as LS cards.

And yet when it comes out most of you will have them in your lineups.
