RBI resets to 0 after exceeding 255 in RTTS

I’ve noticed a bug in Road to the Show mode.
When a player’s RBI total exceeds 255 in a single season, the RBI stat in the yearly stats resets to 0.
This seems to happen consistently once it reaches 256 or higher. The gameplay itself doesn’t appear to be affected, but the displayed stat is clearly incorrect.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

This has been an issue for years just like home runs.

It's not a bug, it's 1 byte of memory for the stat tracking, 1 byte of memory is 256 characters

Every year, I buy the game hoping this issue has finally been fixed, but I’ve been disappointed each time.
This time, I decided to treat it as a last chance for both of us, so I reported it to San Diego Studio and also posted here.
Since this should be technically possible to fix, I really hope it can finally be addressed.
This is my last request.

I agree this should have been fixed back in 16 with “new engine” but years of complaints over the years by so many players and crickets. No response to players requesting a change. At first the email I received in 17 was that it was a hardware limitation for backward compatibility. That excuse went away when they stopped PS2 and Xbox One were removed.
