ABS in RTTS
-
Honestly having ABS forced on in RTTS is a complete game breaker for me. I prefer to play with it off on other offline modes. But, having it forced on in RTTS 1) makes the strike zone so much smaller 2) too many pitches that are obviously balls are being called strikes. This needs to be updated to where in can be optional and you are not forced to play with it.

I’ve had the opposite experience, this is the first year I’m not tossing my controller across the room. When the ball is touching the line it’s finally a strike that has not been the case for almost 10 years now.

I’m on the opposite side, the strike zone has always — in the rules — been any part of the ball that touches the zone. It makes for fantastic consistency with where the zone actually is. It allows you to challenge the calls that are bad and if you can’t recognize the zone, I’m sorry to say you just gotta keep working at getting used to the real zone. There’s no reason we should have to deal with 30-40% of a baseball touching the zone and being called a ball as it’s been for years in past games.
