Popups galore, seriously EVERY other out seems like a popout. It’s homer or bust for most of the scoring if not all most games. Just a terrible gaming experience right now. I would go into more detail but it’s so obvious who needs to.

It is rather homer heaven right now. Seems like most of my runs come on homers. The homers to other hits/scoring is really out of proportion. Granted, some of it is playing conquest, but I have several players where half their hits are homers.

I like hitting homers as much as the next guy but some more proportional mixing in of some singles and doubles is good too.

That's cause you don't know how to play 2020, its less arcady than before.......you aren't very good and have no patience to practice...that's all, don't blame the game, blame yourself.

You’re a troll I get it, but the only one who sucks is you pal. The fact the game plays so arcade like is the problem. Judging by your stats you’re nothing but a scrub, I haven’t read one intelligent comment from you all season. No doubt you’ll be posting more mindless nonsense.

No, really...if every other ball you hit is a popup...that sounds like a you problem.

Posts like this are just little self-owns and the posters don't even realize it.

I'm constantly under every fast ball and on top of everything off speed. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Heck, a lot of the times I swear I don't move or ever so slightly move the pci, yet it is somehow way off in the results window. And the more I practice the worse I seem to get or at least I remain consistently crappy.

Not one?, how about the one about using the proper HDMI cable or monitors or describing why sinkers are the proper speeds and not faster than fast balls?. Are you just cherry picking things like some weird religious person to justify your thoughts?

Right, being realistic there are some good things with hitting this year. The PCI changes are good, the fact that you can really tell the difference in PCI size, even on all star, between facing 99 Kluber and 78 Eduardo Rodriguez is good as well, perfect/perfect is a good concept in theory and I like the new meatier crack of the bat sound effect on hard contact.
The problems with hitting, primarily for me, are swing timing windows being too tight, causing real problems when facing opponents with high ping, in MLB stadiums and other circumstances, too many balls that are hit well (per the in game feedback and in my own opinion - AKA you just “know” when you were “right on” the pitch when you’ve played the game a while) are not resulting in hard contact, too many balls that are hit well are giving unrealistically low exit velocities, often less than the initial pitch speed and finally, the game apparently rewards just wildly swinging as early as possible without reading the pitch more consistently than it rewards reading the pitch and squaring it up with good timing, which I don’t think should be the case.
When you’re succeeding by swinging like an idiot at everything until the game arbitrarily causes a pitch to hang and it gets unrealistically yanked 500 feet for a home run with early/okay swing feedback, while I’m lining out good/good, good/squared up and even perfect/perfect, we have a problem with hitting.

Objectively, I have felt similarly. I feel like we are back to pop up or home run in RS and when you do square it up, hopefully it isn't a good/okay. Perfect/perfect is a saving grace compared to 18, but the hit outcomes seem limited. Besides online play, in RTTS i have a catcher on legend. He has like 27 home runs and 6 doubles a month before the all star break. The ratio is off, the game needs tuning.

If SDS can let us adjust the sensitivity of the PCI, pop ups won’t happen as often. That would give people less to complain about. I pop up too often myself. Mostly the ones just below/above the center of the plate.
