I don’t understand the concept of making this so difficult in a way that no one is ever going to actually interact with the game in another mode.

I am totally unfamiliar with the process for this one, so everytime I manage to catch the ball my throw ends up being just left of the 2nd baseman every single time.
Am I missing some tutorial about how to do this, because after an hour of trying the very first moment with no luck, I am about ready to just ignore this stuff fully.
EDIT: Gave it one more shot and got it, despite doing the same thing i did on all the other failed attempts.
