Pitching Coach's Training Boost?
-
Has anyone determined what the Pitching Coach's training boost actually does?
The Hitting Coach's boost seems fairly straightforward. After contacting him with your 'cell phone', you get a choice between 'Power' and 'Contact'. The 'Power' boost seems to multiply the advancement points/partial tokens you get for in-game 'power' related performance. For me, it multiplied the points I got for hitting doubles, triples, home runs (but not singles) and 'hard contact' (but not 'good' or 'perfect'). I would guess that the 'Contact' boost would work the other way around.
I also noticed that the number of points wasn't just doubled - it was tripled. My guess on that is this is where the multiplier on the 'Legacy' screen gets applied (it was x1.5 for me).
The Pitching Coach's boost had 3 choices: 'Big Game', 'Per/9' and 'Pitches'. I've tried both 'Big Game' and 'Per/9', but didn't notice any change to the number of points awarded in-game while pitching.
Has anyone figured out how this works?

@modad_mlbts On my 2-way player I never got the bonus after the first 3 games in AA. If your rating is A you are supposed to get 1,5, this does add to the 2X bonus or at least it’s supposed to.

I'm in my second month with my SP/SS, so I'm well past the initial 3-game muiltiplier.
What I'm refering to is when you 'click' on the 'messages' thing in the top-right hand corner and can talk to your agent, the head coach and the Hitting and Pitching coaches. When you talk to the Hitting coach, you end up asking for more practice time, and he gives you the choice between power and contact. The Pitching coach gives you the 3 choices. I mentioned.
Do your coaches not give the training boosts anymore?

@modad_mlbts It is supposed to give you a bonus, it will show up in the top left when points are awarded. It is not working for me at all, the 1.5 you get from being potential A isn’t working either.
