2026 Game Time Bug
-
In multiple franchises I have started on Xbox, the Guardians, Cubs, and Astros have zero night games at home during the 2026 season. Can anyone on PlayStation else check these teams' calendars in Franchise to see if it's the same?
-
is that really that big of a deal.

@mhenry23_PSN Considering that time and thus temperature can affect ball flight characteristics, yes it does matter. Not to mention the change in the way you play offense with the sun glaring off the batters eye in day or not at night. And lastly this is supposed to be THE simulation baseball game on the market, if they have night home games IRL, which they do; than it should be represented in the game as well.

@mhenry23_PSN I normally play a lot of games in franchise and wanted to choose the Guardians, so yeah it would suck to have all day games. Plus the schedule is out for 2026 so it's a super easy fix.

Sorry rocket scientist

Oher than the fact it is totally unrealistic to the actual MLB game. You do understand this is supposed to be a simulation of actual baseball, right?
-
Yeah but based on what things need to be changed this is far down the list

Well, considering that SDS has ignored nearly all bug reports over the last several years it seems that valid point doesn't alter the issue.

This has happened for the past few years. It has been patched each year. I am not sure why QA misses this every year, but it must be patched hopefully by day 1 patch. For those in the minority who don't see this as a big deal, then they are not serious fans of realistic baseball. I suspect they are fantasy players.
