20 Card Max

@yankblan_PSN you can think investing is boring thats cool. But that fact of the matter is . It was the most efficient way to get stubs and they lost money on it and changed it. I have 4 to 5 million every update after the first month. That is why this is happening im sorry investing is boring to YOU and again you are entitled to your opinion but if you wanna spend money at a game do you. This is a thread about the limit I dont get why your here other then to troll
-
@yankblan_PSN he says he flips to get stubs. What does this dude think they are gonna do to that eventually. Once people have to flip to get stubs they are gonna do what they can go limit stubs to make you buy them
-
@yankblan_PSN Still here? I do IRL and it is a blast. Not sure why you are still in a thread about it when you obviously don't care about it at all, none at all.........HA. If you were a math guy you would know that they just made flipping the only way to play the market. Squeeze that noise, flipping is almost as boring as playing PVP. That is the problem. We can't passively invest anymore and can only flip. Deal breaker for many, they knew this and purposely kept it from us. And you are here defending them and attacking the people they did it to. Sad.
-
@BrthrDarkness_PSN sure but do you actually play the game?
The only money I drop on this game is the digital deluxe preorder, the rest I unlock naturally by playing.
-
@yankblan_PSN Since you're finally asking a sincere question, here's the sincere answer. You clearly don't know how investing works, which is fine. There's an app you can download. Then, you can set limit orders, just like on the stock market. Once you understand the system, you can earn 60k Stubs on a single transaction. It takes 30 seconds. Many of us do this in the background while waiting on load screens or when not at our consoles to play the game. Before today, fans of this play style could be on MLB The Show from anywhere. Now, we're chained to our consoles to make a profit, which was the point. SDS simply didn't want to admit it until they stole presales money from those who would have canceled had they known.
-
@yankblan_PSN Still in a "wall street sim" thread telling everyone what they are allowed to think?
-
@yankblan_PSN bro I play the game plenty I invest when on break or waiting on my truck to get filled and make stubs. I dont have to waste my playing time flipping. I was a multiple Ws player all Ta done I actually played the game. Its crazy your really defending sds. Defending big market company instead of the players.
-
@yankblan_PSN If you think investing is such a joke, why would you even open an investing thread? Much less start picking fights with everyone in it for no reason? What type of person are you?
-
@Gone-Viral_XBL I mean in flipping defense you flip fast on the app too but yeah lol. My thing what makes this guy's method better. You make 10 times more investing then flippin and I do both. Asking if I play the game smh. Yeah I do I dont have to keep looking at my phone to see if I have to cut another dude every 10 seconds to sell 1 card
-
@Gone-Viral_XBL wow there’s an app??? Mind blown!!!
Seriously (well not really), I don’t care one way or another; if it deflates prices a bit, good if not, well that’s that.
I’m just enjoying people losing their minds over something they could completely get rid of (market) and have the same game be as fun.
-
Greedy by SDS. Going to be impossible to actually complete live series collection this year. Going to kill the game before it even starts. I wouldn’t have preordered if I knew they were pulling this.
I completed the LS Collection and every other collection in 25 and I didnt invest in one single card. Nor did I purchase stubs.
I just didnt get them done right away.
-
You forget we bought this product right? Its no different then you buying a car and it having a [censored] up engine and not being told about it. Qould you still buy the car. The fact of the matter is sds didnt disclose anything
-
@yankblan_PSN "I’m just enjoying people losing their minds over something they could completely get rid of (market) and have the same game be as fun." Same game be as fun.......... "for you". That is what a narcissist can never see.
-
This is a terrible change to the game that has made me reconsider if I even want to purchase it. No way a cap of 20 cards should exist. Maybe scaled like 250 common/bronze, 150 silver, 100 gold and 50 diamond.
I may refund the game
-
@yankblan_PSN In all seriousness, that's not how this will play out. Anyone with experience with EA games knows that once the investment options end, the economy inflates, and pay to win becomes the only viable option. It doesn't even impact me since I don't play H2H, yet I still know this is pure greed.
To a larger point, download the app, load MLB The Show 25, set a buy order for one of the Kyles (Schwarber or Tucker). Then, once you buy it at the low price, set a sell order for the high price. With virtually no effort, you'll make tons of Stubs. SDS is removing this from the game solely to sell more packs.
Don't miss the forest for the trees here. They're intentionally making the game worse solely for greed.
-
This actually a very underhanded scummy way to try and force players to buy Stubs.
With no No explanation and no reasoning given, it feels even worse. Like I’ve been tricked.
-
@DonJuanRon_XBL Yeah, that's the thing. I bought like $150 worth of Stubs last year. Now, I won't do that last year and may refund the game. That's a tangible loss, and if enough people take a stand, it'll add up, just as with Destiny 2.
-
That’s not real is it I mean this is what sets this game apart unless they don’t make any money which doesn’t make sense. It’s just as bad as only being able to sell 20 cards at a time on madden. Honestly it makes the game not as fun for me.
* -
@DonJuanRon_XBL it’s really not though.
-
@BalsamicArrow88_XBL great point
