This is a disastrous change for those of us who enjoyed investing in live series roster updates. The fact it was not communicated before launch, I am very disappointed in this decision.

Those of us who enjoyed buying and selling cards for the roster updates helped keep the in-game marketplace flowing for cards of all tiers. We constantly were placing orders that would be filled by users when they were opening packs. It's a shame that the limit is 20 CARDS! TWENTY! At least scale the limit by card tier!

I urge SDS to reconsider this.

    Player Limit 20!!!!!!???
No one wanted this, market investing was the sole best thing about this game. It set it apart from every other sports game in the fact that you didn't have to spend
money to get currency. That's what kept me buying the game year after year, and why there are so many other people buying the game year in and year out.
With a limit of 20 cards per, Investing in roster updates isn't
even a thing anymore, this is detrimental to the MLB
community. Please change this back to how it was !!!
Also not one mention of this before the release of the
game. This would have been a huge factor for me buying
the game with a change this huge. This completely changes
the game more than any other change made ever to MLB
the show. I just can't believe no one told the community about this. Please get it fixed back to how the market was.

Please consider reverting this change. Not telling anyone about before the game launch was objectively a shady decision. We have been paying $100 every year for early access. We are not just numbers on a profit spreadsheet.

Player limit of 20 makes all commons, bronzes, silvers, and golds useless filler in packs. Low Diamonds have no value and the pack weight of high diamonds makes them unattainable.

Absolute bs that they would do this. Investing was by far the best part of this game. Now they make it the only way to complete collections is spending 100s of dollars. Last time I'm buying this game.

Spouting complete nonsense doesn't help your case.

Is the move player friendly? no of course not. I hope its reverted.

But I don't invest, nor do I flip in bulk, and I was able to get every auctionable card in 23 and 24 without buying stubs.

This is the worst change ever!! Making it so that you just need to spend money on stubs or else you’ll never complete any collection. Favoring YouTubers is just a bad decision, one that has ruined madden ultimate team.

20 card limit is crazy. SDS just wants the money grab so people are forced to reach for their card and finish the live series collection. Investing is a fun and easy way to make stubs without glitching the game. This needs to be changed

This is nothing more than a cash grab by SDS. They lose too much money on players who invest rather than buy stubs.

Investing was the only way to earn enough stubs to buy many of the high end cards. Anyone who isn’t an immortal level player, which is >96% of the player base, could not earn cards/stubs through normal gameplay. I have over 700 hours in game and most cards would have been unattainable for me without investing.

If this remains, I’ll simply put the game down and I’m certain the player base will shrink faster than it did last year.

SDS hasn’t made any official statement because they know there is only one justification for this and it won’t land with their base.

Market investing was the best thing about this game. There’s a huge community solely for it and you just lost the whole community of thousands. No one asked for this.

I feel like I just had $100 stolen from me. The only fun part of the game is the market. And this completely ruins investing without flipping. Tried to refund but the refund was rejected. I will never give Sony another dime. For anything. TV, Stereo, gaming, anything. Hope it was worth it.

I was on the fence about getting the game this year. I did anyways in spite of being pretty fed up with the lack of improvement. It’s one of the few games I play. Now, I wish I skipped this year.

I was decently excited for this year’s game and now I don’t even know if I want to buy it. This change is terrible and unnecessary.

One of my favorite things as a a show fan and an MLB fan was to watch the game and buy players i thought were going up in value. so much fun and they just ruined it in the new game.

Yea this is a dumb change, they just want us to buy stubs. Y'all are trying to become EA slowly but surely. I don't have hours on hand to grind modes. I flip while I'm at work or on breaks. If you're going to do this then cap card prices.

The thing is the majority of this game’s playerbase isn’t gonna reach for the card. This will be a pure net negative move for the game if they can’t revert it. Investing/roster updates make the game replayable and give a longer lifespan to each year than every other sports game. Basketball football hockey all immediately show you you’ll only have fun for about a month content wise and it’ll run you an arm and a leg. Keeping up with real baseball and seeing your predictions turn into benefit for your DD team through stub investing is the most unique aspect any sports game has ever had in an ultimate team mode.

I like to invest not only for stubs but i like to do my own research on players and try to figure out who’s going to go up in ovr but there’s zero point to do that now.
