Why should this be the norm? It used to be you see a menu in front of you, you press X or whatever and something happens.

No no, those are advertisements of what you can find in the game if you press bumper and screw around a lot. Wtf

    Is it my Ps5?

    Possible bug report.

I accidentally spent 1500 on a BR game and draft and BS and played it out but the home screen isn't responding to me.

PS5, bumpers work but main menu nada.

Hopefully I am not the only one.

X button / controller works in game but not in menus.

This is without a doubt the worst UI you've ever had.

I like the UI overall. That home screen not being clickable is a little confusing, but otherwise it's nice. In a week once we get used to it we'll all be navigating around without even looking at the screen again.

Eh, I'll get used to the main UI itself.

But wait until you guys go to the collection screens. I just did the starter and quickly looked at the cardinals.

    • You can either collect all or collect them one at a time. You can't mark multiple and collect those at once
    • To collect one you have to hold down the button for several seconds for each card
    • The progress indicator scrolls off the top of the screen so you can't see progress as you are collecting cards you have to scroll down to.

I guess on the plus side you also have the option, at least on the team screen to buy all the missing cards and it shows the cost.

After '24 (MLB The "Flashbang") I don't think I'll ever complain about a UI.

Once I figured out their dumb UI, I managed to complete cardinals and most importanlty, WILLIE MCGEE collection with giants.

Willie going leadoff all night baby.

I am 0-0 ranked now, maybe 0-13 in a few hours.

No squad requirements listed anywhere on either mini season, I know classic is any card, I'm guessing that wbc is also because I had AS Griffey in there with LS and the few wbc I have so far, but they need fix it to display eligible players on the miniseasons

Am I the only one who doesn't understand their new UI? They take your eyeballs from R1-R2 top of screen to move around, and on some menus X works or maybe you can scroll down in that menu - Which is on the left. What do-gooder decided to make it an annoyance to scroll through their menus to find anything?

@Dolenz_PSN they also added a “lock” option that prevents you from accidentally collecting card(s) you don’t want to.

It took me a couple minutes as well, but I think we'll all get used to it pretty quick.

This. My muscle memory is pretty locked into last year, but we'll get there.

In terms of the live series collection though the interface is a massive win, easier to see when you have players to collect for a certain team you don’t have to click on each team to check, saved me a lot of time

Many beers involved in above posts but the point I’m trying to make is the user interface doesn’t flow.

Look into what Dolenz said as far as Collections - if you don’t tap down it never even brings up the options of how to collect the cards.

Once there it’s fine but it’s very very awkward.

If I were a first time player I’d have no idea how to do anything. User interface is very important. You don’t open up your outlook and all of a sudden your inbox is on the bottom right of the screen.

I like to think they’ve played their game these past few months and sure someone may have mentioned : hey these menus are pretty awkward. Maybe it fell on deaf ears.

The UI looks like it’s unfinished. Clunky and difficult to navigate…finding things is a chore. It’s like they didn’t even QA this at all

I got use to it but it’s like they had so many things they are inside each other. Guess all the content makes it kind of crowded.

    @Sarge1387_PSN

    Clunky is the perfect description.

Plus there’s weird lag switching between the sections, at least on PS5.

It’s clunky clunky and if they’d have played their game even for 1 DAY QA should have been on this.

Noticed the slow down on Xbox as well when switching tabs around progress and collect.
