I feel like the improvements that were made to trade logic were good. I also like that they mentioned the regression system is better.
However, the game doesn’t look better, the franchise improvements just aren’t enough to justify me spending $70. I’ll stick to MLB 25 until next year and see if I pay $20 for 26 or if enough improvements are made to where I want to buy the updated version.
What I would really like to see in the future of MLB franchise mode is:
-Front/Back loaded contracts with team/club options
-Non-Roster invitees to spring training
-Class-A teams
-No more 70-80 overall 18-19 year olds out of the draft
-Have managers/coaches have a bigger impact such as different philosophies or styles
-Batting practice/Bullpens in spring training when pitchers and catchers report and maybe implementing some of the RTTS mini games into franchise spring training -
Thankfully thos 18-19 70 overalls can be edited down easily enough.
