@NotesOfJohn_MLBTS I get your point though that it is the first announcement and the release is way off. I was just a bit frustrated we didn't get any updates this year. They gotta take care of the money makers first for sure.

@Suel21_MLBTS As I said, man, totally get the frustration.

I hope you get what you want from them in 26.

Stadium Creator has been a tool in the game for five editions now and yet there have been no improvements and very few new props added to the mode. At least give us in the stadium creator community word on Stadium Creator. Whether it's going to be improved; added to; fixed; updated; something! Myself and countless others have made our voices heard early on this season about our gripes and grievances with the blatant and intentional neglect of Stadium Creator. At least can we have some word as to whether or not SDS will do anything with it for MLB 26?

The SC honestly just needs a couple minor tweaks to really get it going: #1 being make the walls the hard trim point, #2 would be allowing us some wiggle room to move template fences in or or OR utilize min/max requirements, #3 either give foul ground templates OR allow us to do it manually with certain restrictions in place to prevent cheat stadiums, and #4 Make batter's eyes an attachable prop/get rid of the deadzones.

    That's it...it's not that hard.

@Dolenz_PSN we are not expecting stadium creator to get the same marketing push as all the other modes. All we are asking is stadium creator going to get an update .
A simple yes or no answer is all we want .you say its too early but there must be some sort of plan in place for stadium creator since nothing was done in 25. We are a community that loves stadium creator and just want an answer. Quite frankly your answer above came across alittle rude , we are all grown men let's try and keep this a respectable chat it is just a game in the end . Thankyou for your time. Sanmandan

Good to see the Stadium Creator Community chime in.

I agree, after poor communication, and clear neglect of Stadium Creator based on the very few changes/updates as well as the Vault mishap at release, SDS owes everyone that uses Stadium Creator straighforward communication about what will be done with it.

Personally, after this year's disappointment, I will not be purchasing The show 26 until I know it's worth it...and I get some of what I posted in my 'Must Haves' post within the Franchise forum.

At this point, as customers who have supported SDS by purchasing the Show, we deserve to know what's happening instead of some business effort that involves remaining silent to see if they can get people to blindly buy the game...only to be disappointed when it does not include features that many of us enjoy - such as the Stadium Creator tool.

Again, I won't be purchasing 26 until I see it has what I feel is worth it to me to purchase it to replace 25.

I agree with @SithLordSlyther_XBL I think that we are owed some form of response other than "we'll pass it on to the team" as to what's going on with the Creator. The optimist in me says that the reason that it didn't get much this is year is because it's getting due upgrades for 26, as they stated they had already begun work on 26 at the time of 25's release.

My inner pessimist/realist says that we shouldn't expect much at all, or even a creator mode at all with how blatantly it was disregarded and treated as the red-headed step child. I'll still buy the game, honestly because I enjoy playing coop with my buddies, but it'll definitely burn me if there aren't any of the much requested/suggested updates

@Sarge1387_PSN so with ya dude. Last year when they showed those chain link fences to hype rtts and some people were so excited that these might have been in CAS. It was deflating for some people when they got the game only to see it was a copy and paste of last year.

That exact moment of realization is something I remember to this day. It was exactly as you said -- deflating. It is rare when a company goes out of its way to maliciously abuse paying customers, and so saying that a company does this is reserved only for very badly led operations. Sadly, SDS deserves that sobriquet. Except in this case, there is nothing funny about it. It is profoundly sad.

For SDS to see customers get something they have been wanting to have for years and then spend money and time to try to shut it down showed everyone what kind of company SDS has become. Since this all went down, I have actually had former managers and senior employees at SDS initiate contact with me. The theme of these contacts is the same. Around the time of COVID, SDS hired new managers who lacked affinity for the sport of baseball and degraded the focus of the game. This included a strategic decision to abandon Stadium Creator, as well as Logo Editor and Custom Uniforms.

Again, I think SDS should be privately run. I think the partnership with Sony, while imperative to the game's funding, is just ruining things in the long term. You have to imagine they're micromanaging every piece of content released and probably make unnecessary tweaks to help them profit from the game even more, whether it's beneficial to us or not. Some rich son of a [censored] should buy the company off Sony and run it themselves, someone who actually knows about baseball and understands the essence of a good baseball video game.
