MLB The Show Coming to PC

This game has an insane amount of cheaters in it already. The only ones saying it doesn’t are the ones cheating. This game is filled with cheaters.

I mean if you count everyone using Lagrasa you're technically right... -
I’m talking about the lag switches and the pci auto aim. I have over 1000 hours in this game and I promise you I’m not wrong. Yeah I’m not the greatest but I’m decent. I’ll take a loss in a fair game. These games are far from that though. This game is a seth pool for the cronos and titan players and almost everyone is already playing on pc using the remote play. This game is a joke at this point and it sucks because it has real potential.

I have played about 200 ranked games this year. I faced one person who was 100% cheating and one person who was playing so far above his skill level I was pretty sure he was cheating

- Cheating will be rampant. Anytime a game goes onto PC the number of cheaters spikes dramatically. Just look at what is happening to 2K and Madden
- MLB The Show is a game that is heavily reliant on getting good frames per second. Console refresh rates are capped at 120 right now, while good monitors for PC can reach north of 240 fps. This difference would give people with $2000 PC builds at a huge advantage over console players. This would essentially make the game a competition over who has the best setup.
Easy solution. PC players can only play PC players and Console players can only play console players.

Bingo. Not every PC player will cheat, but 100% many cheaters will be PC players. Every game with open cross play can back that up too.
So the best idea is your solution, or at least provide the option for crossplay to be "console only". I'm all for more people getting into the game, that's nothing but good for the health of the game itself, but there definitely needs to be safeguards in place

@TheBigPapa55_PSN BigPapa just ignore the dude he’s a troll. SDS has shown a serious lack of knowing how to do anything to be frank. A broken game. A broken hitting engine. Cheap servers. Bad connections. Constant menu freeze ups you name it. Graphical issues and rendering even though the grass is copy and paste and nothing in the background moves lol could go on and on and anyone expect them to utilize a good anti cheat software is delusional. And quit telling people to touch grass. Some of us are business owners and have very good jobs yet still love and deserve to be able to play the way we want when we pay 70 bucks or however much for a game. And many of us aren’t even gamers. We are just huge baseball fans.

@RAisEdByGoAt_XBL
What’s funny is how people join peaceful discussions just to instigate, and then get offended personally when someone says something they don’t like. Bro smh -
Why exactly are PC players cheaters? As a long-time Madden modder, I believe modding makes the game better. Simple things like walk-up songs, custom graphics, and simple mods like weather generators, replacing Kaiju with an actual usable feature in stadium creator, maybe even bring in more classic stadiums. Having it on PC with a robust modding community will only help. I am a long-time MLB The Show player... I even played MVP Baseball, and the mods in that game were amazing. PC users deserve a good baseball game.

Not every PC player is a cheater, but most of the cheaters in open-crossplay games are PC players.

I'm 100% with you on this, FO4 was AMAZING on console after Bethesda finally allowed the mods to come to console, was so much fun.
