Finest Mini-Season

It's nice to have the challenge of the best lineups of the playoff teams in the mini-season, but did anyone else notice that the release said teams of common and bronze players? I assume that was just a copy/paste from previous mini-season.

I noticed that too. But it's nice to actually have a little bit of challenge in mini seasons. The pitching seems a little more consistent with how pitchers pitch in real life in certain situations instead of constantly dotting on 3-1, 2-0 counts. Don't get me wrong it still happens but not the frequency it did with play it back mini seasons, IMO.

No it is not gold silver and bronz players play like they are 99s. Hit and field anything .and your finest player looking like rookies .no get real.

I've got to say the Rafaela 5xbh was quite interesting. Perfect perfect single after perfect single. Then when I got to 4XBH, it was walk after walk after perfect-perfect foul that would've been a hr after walk lol.

That 5 XBHs mission literally took me 22 games, it was fly out after fly out and multiple homeruns robbed, but after finally completing it I opened the 88+ live series pack and pulled Ohtani

I'm like 12 games in I think on all star and have him batting leadoff. 1 xbh so far, he's been getting hits but not xbh

@Mcferra-_PSN I would say it is a safe bet that you have not played the Finest Mini Season which this post is about. It Is pretty obvious you haven't played this Mini Season since you said:

Anyone who has played this particular Mini Season knows that there is no
gold silver and bronz players
since all the teams have lineups, rotations, and bullpens that are all 99s. So, in this particular Mini Season, which is the Finest Mini Season like the title says, has 99s that play like 99s.

I had the same trouble. I didn’t finish Yandy Diaz last tb until his last at bat in the final championship game. I had them both leading off and I would have a hard out and my next hitter would smash one. I was just laughing about it.

@soonermagic78_XBL dude that same [censored] happened to me too, would make a loud out with either one of them and the next guy up literally got a hanger and I would hit it out, it's like why can't my leadoff guys get a hanger. But like you at the end I could only laugh about it

@sbchamps17_NSW I batted him leadoff and kept getting a second AB up 3, or up 2 with one on--basically any situation where a HR took me out of a save situation. Homered every single time in that situation, took maybe 7 games.
Seriously, if you need a home run and/or RBI, that's the closest I've ever seen in the game to a sure-bet situation.

Took me 10-12 games with Rafael a and then 3 Homer's in 4 games or so with Yandy. Now on to Tatis!
