I've officially seen it all.

I play NBA 2K as well and you can totally tell that the CPU will give your opponent a “window” to get back into a game. Anyone who thinks certain games don’t have that built in are very naive.

I’ll call them what they are, liars, cause I guarantee you they’ve been on the losing side of the game favoring your opponent but still deny it’s possible. Their also part of the problem and gives the gaming companies no reason to put out legit gameplay when they defend the BS cause they enjoy taking the success from it.

Same thing on madden. You have a lead but sooner or later your players fumble for no reason, drop wide open passes , qbs miss wide open wrs etc etc
-
Funny how the players who always seem to have an excuse have yet to say a word about this one.
Post is 5 hours old, I thought for sure they would have come up with something by now.

I’ll tell you how I feel. If you are playing the same level you are be it bronze, silver gold or diamond it is an even playing field. But if you are higher rated in the do path the game rears its ugly head. I beat a WS player yesterday, but he was a gold and I am a diamond. Lots of grinding because you can only do so much house work during the stay at home bs. I was up 7-3 in the 8th, a not lock on in the outfield and then a non lock on by my catcher and bam he scores 4 to tie it . I walked it off but it kept him in the game, and he wasn’t that good

I actually never thought about it before because Im usually basking in my frustration for the game im playing at the time. But all these sports games have seemed scripted of late. NHL Ice tilt is very real and comparable to this nonsense. Your players can’t catch passes or don’t pick up loose pucks.
Developers need to Stop trying to let non competitive players feel better by allowing the game to play for them essentially.

No bigger lie than your title "I've officially seen it all". You ain't even scratched the surface of the utterly inane code these clowns wrote. It's a comedy of errors (no pun intended). How this game ever got into the public's hands is beyond me.

Imagine if this game had QA before release, the tester would be like yeah you are a good 2 years away with bugs. Keep at it.

I've always laughed at the "the game is scripted/has scripted moments" posts, but once you lose a 5 run lead off a walk, 2 errors, and a 2 run homerun by Aroldis Chapman (0 contact, 0 power) - it makes you think.
You were doomed once you gave up the errors, instant hr power no matter who next batter is...seen it too much already.

It's scripted no doubt. It wants to keep games close/ shift momentum. It doesn't happen all of the time but man can I just feel the game pulling my opponent when I have the lead or boosting me when i'm behind. I feel like way to many games are nail-biting walkoffs. Just got to take it as it is, turn it off, and take a break sometimes lol
