I’m hopeful we as a community will earn a voucher to get part way there. That being said I think the conquest is doable. I’m a terrible player and I’ve gotten it completed and I typically play veteran. If you do a handful of Showdown missions (I lost pretty much all of them it only costs 100 stubs) it’ll get your timing sped up which was huge for the conquest

Sorry, its extreme for a reason. There should be in games better rewards for better achievements. Thats exactly what this is. Changing anything or giving a voucher to help complete the program ruins the program. Sorry guys. If they are going to change the path, then they need to lower the rewards.

@LIONED-33_XBL considering the entire program can be completed by playing a bunch of games on La Grasa at rookie difficulty, yeah I’m not shedding any tears over a 10 point voucher

That's the thing. SDS knows about the stadium, that's why it was and is 40K.

@LIONED-33_XBL Using that logic, given i had finest done months ago, i should get super upset because they keep handing out bonuses to help people get TA progression.

I'm not though, you know why? Because I'm not trying to hoarde rewards, I want everyone to get access to cards, that's where the fun is.

It also makes zero difference to my gameplay or enjoyment.

Why would I be so miserable as to actively want to stop people getting access to cards?

    It's a video game.

From day one many said they missed the mark with the PXP and those numbers prove it.

They'll be the odd acquisitive curmudgeon who will be upset about them giving more access to the cards, but that's just because in their minds it takes the shine of their 'achievement'.

The reality is that the whole point of cards is to use them, and if people are not being able to access them, all it does is lessen the player base which benefits no one.

To throw around a dumb buzzword that people use, you aren't entitled to better rewards because you are playing at a level some people are incapable of, or don't find fun.

The vast majority of people that enjoy difficult content don't enjoy it because they get more rewards, they enjoy the challenge. People do like to show off as well, but thats what things like the profile icons are for.

I think higher difficulty getting faster progress makes sense, thats how Extreme worked the last couple of years. But for some reason they decided to [censored] over people that can't handle, or don't enjoy, the higher difficulties this time around by not providing a reasonable alternate path.

I know I could complete it, but I also know that winning 10 games in a row on Hall of Fame, including the last one on legend, would either require multiple all or nothing attempts or have me resort to cheese. And frankly I don't find the pitch speeds fun on those levels anyway.

Luckily SDS being stingy with cards this year for most programs works in Extreme's favor here, not missing much by not bothering with this poorly designed program.

And that's the crux of the issue.

Those desperately trying to bogart Elly try to frame it that people want a super quick and easy path, but we know that's not true.
People want a realistic and reasonable alternative.

Having to grind for months or hit the equivalent of 20,000 home runs (factoring in double PXP) is neither realistic or reasonable and i suspect SDS know this, hence the potential voucher as a make good.

The PxP wasnt really intended to be the only thing, but in past years the conquest was significantly easier, and there was a mini season that could be done on multiple difficulties. The mini season has been inexplicably removed. Diamond Quest probably isn't that bad difficulty wise if you live with the RNG, but again, the word fun. I stopped playing DQ because its not fun.

No mini-season with vouchers was pretty much unacceptable. A real L.

The cards are no sell. Why would anyone care if they made it easier in the near future?

@Teak2112_MLBTS actually thats exactly what life is, those who work harder or are better at something get rewarded. Sorry, you'll fire back with its just a video game.

But when everyone is the same nothing changes. Sorry.

Wasnt even that hard to do DQ or Conquest.

I actually appreciated the challenge instead of mindlessly grinding missions...

Well that tier is less than 50% of the way there, so doesn’t look like the community will make it to that tier.

I did the diamond quest too but I have zero interest in the moments, conquest and showdown for my own mental well being.

I don’t care who else has the cards and no one else should. The great players will get them much faster but ultimately this is a game we all paid for and should have a chance at all the cards if we put in the time.

Gatekeeping virtual cards that will have no value is 4 months makes zero sense. If you are claiming they are trophies for being elite at the game I actually feel bad kinda bad for you.
