    That's disappointing.

Given the PXP needed for Extreme, having a DQ where you don't get PXP for the moments rather than a grindable conquest map is certainly a choice.

It seems like they have doubled down on DQ while giving mini seasons its year end version 3 innings too early so they can ignore the mode the rest of the year

They have given out more conquest maps this year than years past so I cant get on them too much for not having a halloween one. I just wish they put more teams on about half of the ones they release.

incase you have forgotten, SDS does not care about anything other than multiplayer rewards at this point. They threw in the towel by making the three 10th inning cornerstone players not have programs. The don't seem to care enough to do another miniseason, the only way for anyone who plays single player to earn pxp, is the repeatable conquest maps or a miniseason that was released a month ago or a point less game vs the cpu.

This feels like a bit of a lazy 10th inning program. I know we have the WS stuff and finest programs in the next week or so… but those are separate programs. This is a new inning and there’s very little to do. A conquest map would have been nice. Or stat grind program with the new Negro Leagues cards. I also wish they hadn’t stopped the cornerstone evolution programs, too. A mini season update would also have been appreciated.

This is the design this year, inning drops have had very little content in order to not interfere with Weekend Classic

Other than being captains can the finest cards be that much better than what's out there already? Started off well but got into the 99's too early and too many. Maybe more 97/98 cards and less 99s. Just my opinion.

Hard to complain about like 15 free 99s at once, but they could've added some kind of program structure for the NLB cards possibly a few moments or even a Showdown/Conquest. They really haven't done a great job incentivizing the player base to use these cards especially with the year-long TA grind where they were worthless.

And while I'm sure many are tired of collections, I think they could've done something cool here to add some extra content while giving people a reason to use these updated cards. For example, maybe accumulate 50k PXP using the new NLB 99s and that would unlock 99 Satchel Paige instead of having him available through a totally separate mode.

Which is odd given it's still glitched and causes much consternation amongst the community.

I know it has fans, but I love both mimi-seasons and conquest so am quite disappointed at the drop off of both in recent weeks.

Look, it beats other games where releasing packs is considered content these days, but yes, it would have been nice to have some actual things to do with all these new cards.

    @rageincage007_XBL I agree.

First time player but it feels they jumped to 99s far too quickly, sacrificing so many things along the way.

I hope they slow it down next year.

    Agreed. 99's came too fast.
Plus the NGL player 99's were needed way earlier in the season. Maybe not for TA progress, but it doesn't hurt to have 1 super valuable and versatile NGL player in one's lineup.

Yup, its just a bunch of cards for things you have already done with no real incentive to actually use them.

Instead of putting Paige on Weekend Classic they should have made a NLB TA program or something with him as the end reward.

Or even better, either or. Grindy NLB Team Affinity, or be good enough to get the card for minimal time spent in WC.

Too many people in community, too many conflicting opinions on overall releases/progression. I honestly liked the way they rolled out content this year; however, I also enjoyed the last few years. Come the years of the WBC, I feel like they should include 99s in that program however. The question I have for people with this opinion is as follows: If the all-star break was too soon for 99s to be released, and we are still getting 99s now, as the player base is dwindling, when should we get them which allows the majority of the player base to enjoy them?

I truly think waiting longer would be a huge mistake.

I like using mid 90s cards far more than 99s. Its just more interesting having players with flaws instead of everyone is Barry Bonds. they can release the clown cards all they want, but i would appreciate having a wider variety of ~95s to choose from
