The majority of the remaining player base are (most likely) either dedicated baseball fans, or just the best of the best, most competitive players. This happens with near all MP games, people who are good at it, keep going, majority of the base moves on to other games.

This a video game, if you don't like how it plays then find another game that you will find enjoyable but don't come on here and abuse people because you are having difficulty playing this game.

If you don’t realize that competition exists in sports games and that some people are just really good at the game then you are the dumb one here. People can’t be good without cheating, respectfully, is a loser’s attitude. -

I agree, but how is that the point here? It's just someone crying that everyone else is cheating because they're losing games.

While I understand the frustrations of cheaters, there's nothing you can do to beat them. Just like it's very difficult to have fun playing a video game that relies heavily on RNG. All video games rely on a certain measure of cheating with online play and microtransactions. It drives competition for the honest player as in spending hours upon hours on the game grinding to get better and purchasing microtransactions which drives games' revenue. It gives the honest player hope that they can compete. In reality your not going to against a cheat. Now certain games do a better jobs at controlling cheating so they don't lose their player base, which the majority of most game's player base are honest players. That being said, there a better ways to vent, everyone understands your frustrations but not how you vented them.

What do people gain from bunt dancing an entire game from the very start?
Online play just hasn't been fun this year for a number of reasons
