I did some research on the edge controllers, it is designed mostly for FPS and they don't give any advantage to sports games.

The swappable joysticks are great, and the back buttons are nice, but unless you can find a good deal, it's really not worth the price. Yes, consoles and their accessories have always been overpriced for the actual hardware, but these controllers are outrageous. Buy only at a discount or just stick with a standard controller.

You can remap the back paddle buttons to the main action buttons (circle, X, etc.). This works great on platformers and FPS games. I've never tried it on MLB; changing buttons after playing for so long feels counterproductive.
