I feel like there should be some sort of collection or exchange involved where you can spend a lot of stubs for program progress with chase cards or something like that

Extreme isn't about spending stubs. C'mon.

And that's coming from a mediocre offline player who struggles enough on HOF.

1 - I'd love to know what percentage of the player base that attempts this does this because they truly enjoy it / want to do it as opposed to just feeling that they must in order to retrieve a card for online play / collection purposes.

2 - What do online only players feel about this program considering the only part that they can do online is two weeks of events.

To be fair, I think this could be extended to a lot of content beyond extreme. I think for many (not me), the mini season cards would fall under this as an example

The thing with difficult content though, players that enjoy it seem to be more likely to do it for fun. A big example are extreme moments, never required but there is always discussion about them.

And the extreme moments in the regular programs are great for getting people to try harder content without feeling like they have to do it. Ive completed quite a few this year myself. The extreme miniseasons in past years were kind of like that too. The Showdown and conquest throws you up against the hardest difficulty after you have sunk some time in it and if you fail you are screwed. This is not the way to get people to push themselves.

Here is an example of a mini season approach to encourage higher difficulty play: stacking rewards
Win 20 regular season and 6 post season games on rookie or above: 5 points
Do the same on All Star: 5 points
    Hall of Fame: 10 points
Legend 20 points plus a profile icon

So to win 26 games on Legend gets 40 points
But on rookie gets you 5. All Star, which is the closest to a normal difficulty, gets 10 points
So you can start at a higher difficulty, and once you lose a few games you can bump it down.

Completing a mini season 10 times for one card (ok, 9 times since you may get the pxp twice along the way) is absolutely "extreme" is it not?

Double PXP is coming soon. That should help the grinders.

Double PXP has been on throughout.
Even with it, it will still take the equivalent of P5'ing 100 players from scratch.

I currently have 115 P5 after 7-8 months and have more hours of gameplay than 99% (sadly).

There's no way i am going to repeat the same level of grind when the game is largely dead.

Then, no offense, you wont get the Extreme cards.

I understand the aspect of a repeatable Mini Season. But if youre willing to play a repeatable Mini Season multiple times. Why not just play the game because you're still going to need the PXP either way.

And you'll also be earning the PXP. So, instead of waiting for them to include one, just play Conquest, RIB MS, or 9 inn vs Cpu games and if they add an Extreme MS; you may not need it.

    @x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN I didn't suggest a mini season.
I suggested the requirements are a ridiculous overreach.

You keep telling people to just play the game. Do you realize that the PXP requirement for finishing the program that way is a ridiculously high number that is just not feasible for the overwhelming majority to reach, especially as the game winds down.

In 7 months of playing I have earned less than 400K total PXP. Now, if I wanted to earn the Extreme cards by "playing" I would have to earn 800k more. If I earned the same amount in the next 5 months that I earned in the first 7 I would earn Buxton. I would not even be sniffing the other two cards.

They absolutely dropped the ball on the Extreme Program....in so many ways. But again until streamers start calling them out, they'll ignore it.

It's simply the change of speeds/timing. I wonder if those who are accustomed to playing on hof, have to adjust higher or lower too? or do they get to play at the timing they are used to?
