New Hardware, first game

Well, I gave in and ordered a new tv with better input lag, a TCL 4 series.
First ranked game just now I went 7.1 with Glavine, gave up one run, and scored 5, with three bombs.
I wouldn’t say the difference is mind-numbing, I mean I was still late on a few fastballs. I also crushed a few and was able to get the PCI on pitches I normally would not. The most surprising difference was it was easier to hit my spot pitching with analog.
I would say there is definitely something to be said for playing this game on a monitor or something with equivalent input lag specs, so if you are struggling...

That’s great to hear! Just curious as to how you think the monitor makes the pitching more accurate?? Not being smart or calling you out! Just not sure how a monitor could help.. I totally get the hitting aspect.

Well, I wasn’t expecting it but I find it easier to get good releases. I’m not sure if it’s a placebo effect or not, but...
