Pitching in a nutshell
-
I may have misunderstood. I do agree pitching is but I domt think the primary pitch should always be a strike if I want
-
I don’t want to fight with the interface to throw a 2-0 pitch in the zone.
U lost me at regardless of the input. What if my intention it to throw that pitch outside for a ball to try to get him to chase. But by your way it would be a strike that could get killed. I waste pitches all the tim on bad players that chase.
I simply meant regardless of whether the user is pitching with analog, pulse or meter. I’m not suggesting pitches turn into strikes by themselves, I’m saying we should be able to throw strikes if we want to (or balls if we want to).

I think at this point it must be by design. There really isn’t a better explanation.
Couple theories I've seen say its to help directional hitters get more hittable balls. Kinda makes sense.

I understand what he is saying. There are times im behind in the count and literally can't throw a fb down the middle lol

See this is the problem if true. Nobody else's game should be dumbed down to help less skilled players. Sds should just come up with better match making to not have good players playing bad players.

Throwing balls down the middle is the easiest thing in the world for me. I throw 50 balls down the middle every game with at least 8 getting hit for HR's. It feels like my controller is auto programmed to throw down the middle. When I try to hit an edge it is almost always a foot out or right down the middle.

It's a very small strike zone when pitching in a nutshell

In the all-rodent league, it seems about the right size though.

Yeah, I wish that theory didn’t sound plausible. No matter my opponent, there is bound to be an at bat where I just can’t throw a strike for the life of me. I wish the game didn’t try to create chances for the losing team.
