Juan Soto stolen Base moment
-
I have never had a problem with these moments. But he has 50 speed. I took 2 extra leads and left before the pitcher started toward home and still got thrown out by a mile.
Can this moment be done and if so….how did you do it?
-
Ok now it’s just funny, I worked it so he used both pick off attempts and then I took two leads and went as early as I could, the throw was high and in foul territory and I still was out by a foot.
-
@Ericulous1_XBL I needed a pitch that bounced that the catcher had to block...no throw.
-
@RealMessiah_XBL thanks, I assume this is the only way. I don’t need the moment but it seems silly they’d make it that hard
-
I got on my second attempt. I did what you did by getting the pitcher to attempt a pick off twice. I know the throw from the catcher was in foil territory, do maybe the pitch was in the dirt or something, but I got in easily.

I think its time to buff his speed too
34 stolen bases on the year

Nimmo's stl rating is the in the running for most questionable live series stat. But lots of steals doesnt necessarily mean speed should be changed

I was able to take two leads and was thrown out by a mile. I just kept going until the pitcher finally threw a ball in the dirt. Terrible Moment. The "hit a home run with Keith Hernandez" was better than this one... IYKYK.

Got it my second time trying
-
It took me about 15 tries. My problem was that the batter kept fouling pitches off or getting hits. People calling for them to buff his speed are just wrong. It’s a complete anomaly that Soto has over 30 stolen bases. He’s slow. In real life he’s also just difficult to watch. The shuffle is annoying and he complains about every call even if the strikes are 2-3 inches inside the zone. He’s definitely a talented hitter with a good eye, but most of his offense happens at unproductive times.

be persistent, double lead and a good jump, you'll get there. the pitcher throwing a ball helps, try the steal on an advantage count (0-2 1-2)
