The Wainwright card isn't even that good lol. Tf SDS! (unless ofc they give us pitcher versions for both cards).

Why wouldn't they be allowed to? What incentive would MLB have to impose the strangest restriction ever in an officially licensed game? They wouldn't.

If ankiel was a pitcher he would have 0 bb9, 0 control, and 0 pitching clutch and would be only curveball 4S fastball

@LIONED-33_XBL I see him as CF isnt he? Best OF throws I've ever seen. Two CF ropes from the DEEP CF track in Coors to 3rd base, nailed the runner both times. They should've made a special 125 arm/acc for him lol

Edit: Waino too? Could've used him early in the game.
They did not pay for the rights to these guys individually. I am guessing it is a license rights deal with MLB for HRD X.
As such there may be limitations. I don't expect any of these guys who were not already in the game to get any other cards. And since it was for the HRD X, and the Finals are this weekend they probably were not allowed to release them early.
As far as a Cardinals theme team I'll use them both. I already have Wainwright and I'll wait on Ankiel until his price dips a little and I get a few more outfield guys to P5.

Maybe a tip for those who do the showdown. Take a break before the final round and get used to normal speed pitches. Jumping from Ramone Russel (who you face in 3 out of 4) on a lower difficulty to Arrieta on a higher difficulty requires some timing adjustments.
Shout out to Ankiel though who walked off the final showdown with a 2 run homer. I think it was the only one I hit off Arrieta.

I thought this was a little rude.
Luckily Arrieta isnt bad to hit and you probably have 7-8 juiced lefties in your lineup
