Why are all these moments basically identical? Might be crazy but can we get some variety or something I feel like I’m just grinding useless innings. Idk.

I like some of the pitching moments on Showdown. I'd totally be willing to boost the difficulty a little to have some of these pitching moments be shorter. Maybe do something like "bases loaded and no outs without giving up a run" and put it on All-Star difficulty. Or "finish off a complete game by setting down 'x" teams 3-5 hitters in order" and put it on HoF even. That's still very doable and more fun than grinding 8 innings. Plus, because it's short even if you fail a couple times, you don't feel like your time is being wasted.

Agreed. It feels like a waste of time.

Yeah, I’m not interested in these in the least bit, and I usually finish pitching moments the first time through. Between these and the two long Gibson ones, I’m going to take my time. Maybe do one a day. I just tried the first Corbin one and was cruising. Right after I got my last strikeout needed, they scored 3 runs in the final inning. Whatever.

Yep, there is nothing like pitching 5-9 innings and then the CPU gets the one thing you needed to avoid in the late innings. Feels like such a waste of time.

99% of the game this year is a joke.

Even when I hate the challenges or the card...I normally just like to complete it.
Zoomed right thru the first 3...
But the Padres that they have put in the final challenge all have channeled their inner Tony Gywnn! Nearly impossible for me to strike them out. They are laying off of every pitch that 49% on the plate with perfect timing. Then popping something up or grounding out after fouling off or laying off good strikeout pitches. Austin Hedges all the sudden has become a hitting savant!
    Absolutely ridiculous!
