Please get rid of card flipping on the phone app, it's getting ridiculous
-
I'm sorry, there aren't thousands of people buying and selling cards at all hours of the day. It's to the point now where no matter what card I'm trying to sell at any time in the day it is immediately within seconds undercut. I'm sick of subsidizing these a-holes. They should at least have to be in front of the game like I am, not getting notifications and flipping while they are at the dentist office. The cash spigot is turning off for me. Not only are they immediately undercut, but they repeatedly undercut for an hour in a race to the bottom. On almost every card. This hasn't always been like this.
And apparently there are bot apps out there that automatically list and relist....come on SDS, this is BS!

@dinkus_MLBTS How about no Scott?
-
@dinkus_MLBTS It's what everyone uses in their spare time so getting rid of flipping in the app is a Big No

Millions of Copies sold and you don't think there aren't thousands of people working the market at any given time?
-
@sbchamps17_NSW I'm sure lots do. Those are the free riders. Unfortunately, the people who actual buy stubs will soon be sick of subsidizing them. Normally there is a cost to price fixing and hoarding in a market, but there isn't as this one is currently constructed. You don't have to pay for storage, etc. So the only people bearing the cost are the people who spend money and we don't like paying artificially fixed high prices and thus subsidizing those free riders. So for those of us who want to actually play the game, the money flow cuts off fast and we spend somewhere else. This is the first year it has been this bad, and Im sure the sales are down without Gamepass on Xbox. They want to make cards more rare and more expensive to get, and on top of it we have to pay your freight as well (card flippers in general not necessarily you personally)? No thanks!

@GixxerRyder750_PSN Sure, I think there are constantly people every hour of the day and night bidding on Eugenio Suarez...constantly bidding up by one til they get the card for the cheapest price possible, and then within 10 seconds apparently someone else is always putting the card up to sell at the highest price possible and bidding it down by one until it sells. For almost all cards, especially the ones with the largest spreads.
Sure...that's what happens buddy. Millions are constantly playing this game. This isn't a phone game, it's a console (and maybe PC) game. You should have to be on the console (or pc) to keep ruining the game and making it more costly for everyone else.
Eugenio Suarez was just an example, but it's any card with a spread of more than 10%. All the devs did by putting in the tax was keep the prices of cards inflated. Now the flippers need their profit plus the 10% tax that the rest of us get to subsidize.
And if we have all these sophisticated buyers and sellers constantly buying cards for their collections using bids, who is using the "buy now" or "sell now" option? That's another good question. Clearly the masses of people who are buying Eugenio Suarez and need him immediately and don't know they can often get him much cheaper with a bid? Or people with so many stubs they can afford to throw them away?
