I'm waiting until Friday to play again... where are you at?
-
So... I've seen some posts lately from @Teak2112_MLBTS and @Ericulous1_PSN about "needing things to do" and the shortcomings of Team Affinity this year. I'm in the same boat, as right now I'm sitting on "earnable" XP's, but I'm going to wait until the new Inning on Friday:
- Signature Mini Season - 54,000 XPs
- Signature Program - I'm waiting on the 10 points I need to get David Wright and 15,000 XPs
- Fajita CQ map - I beat all the strongholds, but I'm waiting to clear the last space, as that's worth 5,000 XPs
That's 74,000 XPs saved for the 7th Inning program. What are you doing this week?
-
I play so much I don't really worry about sandbagging XP for the innings. I probably hit the wheel a dozen times or so this season. I spend the week practicing and powering up any new additions to my lineup. I'm only able to play ranked on the weekends typically so i like to play HoF offline during the week to work on my PCI placement and timing while knocking out programs, mini seasons, or conquests here and there.
I don't hit a ton of HR and rack up stats but I don't want my eye and timing to get screwed up on rookie or vet because I'm old and suck. haha.

Starting fresh was the best decision I made, I'm having fun again.
If I were still in OP's shoes I would just do draft map with players I havent used much, or at all. Rotating the lineup makes it a little less stale.

I decided to save the new conquest map and the mini seasons for Friday so now I'm working on my 2nd account
-
Draft Map for Cash. Same as you, saving new Miniseason and haven't done last 2 released conquests. Or the most recent DQ. I'm still finishing up the Verlander and Alonso programs though. Finally hit my 20 HR's with Mets so it's just with 1B now that I gotta slog through. Last couple hundred PXP w/ Tiger Pitchers and about 500 or so with Astros to finish up Verlander.

Even as someone who only plays a couple hours every other day, I always get to the inning XP limit halfway through the inning. Even so, I do think it's good to just grind stub sources (diamond quest) and save XP, cause wheel spins are not exciting. Like, give us a Price is Right wheel - and don't just make it already determined, make it an actual game!
I also play hall of fame difficulty offline in the hopes that I'll suck a little less when I need to play online. But, sadly, the only way to actually be good at online is to just constantly play online (which is yucky to me). Like, my win percentage at 3-inning online events goes from 50 percent to 80 percent if I just play nothing but online for a week. Gotta get used to those outliers just teleporting their way to the plate....it's so sucky...

I'm sitting on about 80k in xp programs and conquest maps. 10k for the last game in the kyle Schwarber mini season. Have the voucher for the 50k and hoping that there will be 50k worth of exchanges. So I should be at 190k xp as soon as the program drops. Plus I haven't touched the new mini seasons yet.
So im hoping I can be home on Friday right when the new path drops so I can take advantage of this and make some stubs off that first boss

I play on Saturday while watching movies. Basically get caught up on moments, spotlight, conquest map, etc.
I play Monday mornings which is sometimes the same stuff as above but this is the day I would play ranked or weekend classic.
The other 5 days I don't really have time or opportunity to play.
I've kept this schedule all year and I've had beltran for months. I have most non chase cards... In other words, I'm not behind.
Every Saturday I feel like I have plenty to do and I tend to improve my team week over week with this schedule.
This is why the daily xp limit was dumb last year bc I basically binge play on Saturday.
But content has felt just right for me this year. There is always something for me to do and it never feels daunting or impossible.
I would say I have played way more offline than online this year where in the past I believe I played more online.

Yeah I still have most of the Mini Seasons but otherwise I am out of content. I hope there is something other than just the inning drop on Friday. The 8/26 and 8/29 content are really what I’m waiting for.

There will be! You will get a weekly spotlight program too!
