Well my Mets [censored] suck right now and aside from Carlos Beltran we've gotten no [censored] love whatsoever so let me at least have a 99 Milestone Pete Alonso just to say I have him even though I'll probably never use him. -

If it were up to me, I'd give him either a Moonshot or Cornerstone card.
It would be cool if cornerstones were actually used like this
Realistically he will just got a Topps Now because they seem to give him a Topps Now every year (I didn't look but I assume Topps gave him one for this)
Team leaders and league leaders...these are good card ideas SDS, take notes please

I personally love Alonso cards, I typically do well with them. the All Star card in particular is great

Not great but there are 13 teams worse, including the Cardinals who are 18th.
Even though I am not an Alonso fan at all, I really don't care if he gets a 99 but I would think it would be a Spotlight card like Arenado's 350 HR card from June.

They’re all milestones depending on context. Say Richard was the first black pitcher to win the ERA title. Then it’s a milestone. I don’t know the reasoning behind it. A team record is definitely a milestone.

Happy for the Mets fans but not really of interest to me. I am still mad he threw Masyn Winn's first career hit ball into the stands.

I do like they included a bonus if you're reached 250 HR in My Legacy. Nice touch.

They are having fun with these cards too, they didn't give him an incognito two years ago but now he gets a card with actual polar bears on it

This is a nice surprise!
I did really well with his April Spotlight card.
It was a bit embarrassing watching the Mets blow the lead after Pete's record blast, but nice to see them do it vs. the Braves, and eventually win the game.
Now i can finally use my Mets theme team again! -
