Good timing weak hit balls and perfect perfect outs.

So when I play battle royale Ive notice a huge increase in perfect hit balls that are outs. Ive also witnessed good timing swing outs directly at outfielders when my pci was perfectly on the ball. I feel like mlb the show should make it so that you get rewarded for good swings more often or even make the ball carry more, because this makes the game unenjoyable and rage inducing.

Hitting this year is so bugged it's funny. There's just nothing we can do but complain at this point. It's not just in BR this year, it's in Ranked too. -
@Patu_Xlord_YT_PSN its every online mode brother. Probably offline also. But I try not to play offline that much, Because it makes me a worse player when go back to online. Rage inducing to say the least! Ive broken three controllers this year.

I hate to be the one to bring it up but if you watch an actual game you’d notice this happens all the time in real baseball too. This isn’t an arcade baseball game.

@fubar2k7_PSN and that's why no one watches baseball its boring.

I’ve watched every Dodger game since I retired a few years ago.

@fubar2k7_PSN That’s real life, mlb the show is a video game that should be fun, it should not be rage inducing or even unfair at times.

However, this game is a simulation baseball game not an arcade baseball game. Mega Baseball 4 is available if that’s what you wish to play.

I would not specify this game as a simulation. At best you could call it a hybrid Simulation/Arcade.
If it was a true simulation then two players with the exact same team, lineup and pitching staff should be equal. But we all know that someone who is really good with the controller will beat someone who is not the vast majority of the time.
Any time user skill is as important, or I would argue more important than the player's attributes then I find it really tough to refer to it as a simulation. Shoot, even Super Mega Baseball plays a good game of baseball and players have attributes in that game too so, other than it's over the top presentation and reliance on fictional players , is it really that much different?
The only real sims in my mind are games like Out of The Park Baseball. But, I feel obligated, every time that I mention it to add that it's DD Type mode is the most pay to win model. It's regular mode though is a sim.

@Dolenz_PSN exactly these morons keep coming on here trying to say its real baseball or a baseball sim. Plain idiotic. Its a game! And player input matters in a game. Period end of conversation.

Maybe if they sat in a room playing on the same console and weren’t playing thousands of miles away from one another on varying speeds of internet connections. Outside variables come into play when you are trying to play an hour long game thousands of miles apart. I lose connection on 75 degree days with the best internet Xfinity has for no reason for just a millisecond and it runs perfectly fine in the middle of a monsoon.
