I guess the penalty has to be bigger, people playing JRam in LF, Elly in RF, I played someone with Elly playing 1st base today.

Maybe players OOP attributes should drop to zero.

The OOP-penalty should be way higher … And it should affect fielding way more not only catching. Yes, Elly can probably catch flyballs anywhere irl but the Reds will not play him there … but this is where the „this is a videogame“ should kick in … in a videogame, Elly should suffer badly playing OOP and so should JRam at 1B. Otherwise it takes away from the sim-thing in this game

I would agree that there should be higher OOP penalties for JRam in LF, Elly in RF, Elly at 1B. However, I am not convinced about a bigger OOP penalty for JRam at first base since the majority of 3B could play 1B and that many 1Bs were 3B when they were younger and more agile.

OOP penalties are just right and don’t need to be changed. Reaction and arm accuracy take a hit and playing OOP at first is a gamble because will get dropped balls.

What’s the point of them not giving players secondaries if playing OOP works just as good?

People just don’t want to have to make decisions, so of course they support being able to play JRam in LF, Elly in RF, Seager at 2nd, etc…

I think out of position penalties should be more realistic. You cant tell me you think elly couldnt catch a fly ball, but him getting bad reads and not making diving plays is what the penalty should be
