Are you saving stubs for hr derby and as game?

I've got 45k and already bought all quick sell all star cards. Once I finish mini season and show down I think I'm just a couple cards from jram
Thinking of maybe just scooping up quick sell stuff for next collection (just got Ted this weekend)
Don't think ketel is in my immediate future. Hr derby cards are usually bad other than the 125 power both sides.

I have 41k left and was able to unlock up to ohtani.
4 cards left for judge but I need like another 100k. Hoping I can pull something from these new packs

I went into the weekend with over 400k NMS. I already had every collection done. Finished the All Star collection quick spending about 200k. Buckled down and got my stub count back up to 475k, bought Ketel for 375k, got back up to 150k, bought Eli last night, then got back up to 100k.
I’ll be concentrating on completing the draft program and conquest map today, as well as getting my stub count back up. I imagine Cal is going to get an outstanding card tonight.
Players like Kyle Tucker will be in the program as earnable cards, making the all star collections easier.
After tonight, I don’t think there is going to be anything that will cost stubs because they said the Friday packs would be in place of the pack typically released after the all star game. They are releasing a program and conquest map, and again, that should make it much easier to finish the all star collection.

@Barfy-Bad-Gas_XBL it’s a combination of things. First and foremost, I try to pull as many packs out of the game as possible and sell the contents of the packs I get immediately. Sometimes I grind the moonshot mini season for the standard packs, and the deluxe choice pack, and sometimes it’s DQ for the cards. I always finish the multiplayer program and play every weekend classic.
I don’t necessarily “flip” or invest much but I do use the market to my advantage and will hold onto cards that I think will go diamond about a week or so out from a roster update.
There are so many ways to make stubs in this game. You just have to figure out what method works for you and execute that.

Honestly I’m not the biggest fan of HRD cards, most of the time they’re strictly DH’s. For some reason they always nerf their defense so I’m not a fan of them. Will I try to get them? Yeah of course. I’m more excited for the All Star cards. Curious to see who gets MVP. That will be a good card.

I probably won't buy any. I save my stubs for potentially overpriced Cardinal Cards that I feel are "musts".

I'm the same way. I usually wait on grabbing them later when prices come down for whatever collection might be needed, but I don't really feel like they are usable and worth grabbing right away.

@Pergo_MLBTS I thought about it again. If and I mean if they release a flashback Griffey Jr HRD card with good defense I will for sure try to get it. I wouldn’t mind seeing an end game Cal Raleigh too but both of those ideas are highly unlikely

I went from saying I usually never get them to buying all the rare round cards last night when they came out. I was surprised at the prices, I felt like in the past they were usually way higher but I could be misremembering. But once I saw that Raleigh card I had to go for the collection. I should have it done later today once I can finish up the HRD program.

You remember correctly.
The bottom 4- base round ,price is similar
The 2 semi finalists- mid round ,40-60k
The finalists- rare round, about 80k range, sometimes higher.Edit: I kinda like the way they did it this year
