SDS moderator please answer…Why is boosting not allowed?

I genuinely just want someone from SDS to explain here what constitutes boosting & what doesn’t? There is alot of hearsay and guesswork at play. Please just explain it for us, Thank you.
I find it VERY hard to believe someone should get banned for pounding someone or a bot in a rated game that SDS matched us up against. And fail to see what the big deal is anyway…What? You parallel a player quicker? Who cares?

@IrishFist412_MLBTS They didnt get banned just for boosting against a bot. There is way more to the story and people clearly were cheating. You really think someone is going to get banned for 365 days because they boosted against a bot? Come on man.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL The way this year’s experience playing The Show has gone, Would not surprise me….But that’s why I’m asking a mod to explain what is what.

I love that if I post an “off topic” post then within 10 minutes a mod moves it because “it’s not directly related to the game”. But ask for clarification on an in game question - Crickets.

It’s a national holiday today. There’s probably not a lot of mods on right now.

Do you know how many people would be banned for playing a bot? If that was the sole reason for banning people? A lot. Heck they didn’t even ban people for the 2v2 WS exploit. You have to do a lot to get banned

@Lord-Oimak_MLBTS And that may well be the case…But I want to hear it from SDS so there is no guess work or “My uncle is friends with a guy that knows Ramone & he said that his friend said that Ramone said it was buying stubs illegally plus boosting”…I don’t put one ounce of faith in anything anyone on here says when it comes to this topic. Want to hear it from an SDS representative.

It’s a holiday weekend. Mods ain’t working. We could say a whole bunch of hateful things and wouldn’t suffer consequences till Monday.

They won't go into detail about why someone was banned. And I doubt they'll go into detail as to what constitutes boosting.
They'll just state it's against their TOS. Which you have to agree to follow.
