On this day in 2017.... Remembering my ineptitude and the longest game I ever played.
-
This came up as a memory today. Apparently it happened July 1st 2017...
The longest single game that I have ever played in this franchise. And, while I can't say with 100% certainty, the sad part is that it was probably a Conquest game on veteran or maybe all-star..
Looking at this I have a sudden appreciation of the Runner on 2b in extras.

That would tie for the fourth longest in MLB history. You should have gone three more innings so you could have at least beat the MLB record!
-
I went 26 innings trying to complete the mission with the lesser JP Crawford card to get the future stars card.
I have been very thankful that single game missions like that haven't existed since -
I don't remember which year it was, but one year I went like 18 innings for one of those stat missions that was X# of Ks in a game. It was probably an Extreme Moment and if I remember correctly it was a pitcher from either the Live Ball Era or the Integration Era. If I scored a run, I had to make sure I gave up a run up until I met the stat grind mission.

@Dolenz_PSN That’s a long game! Were you the Decatur team?

Yes. Thank god I won. I may have quit the game altogether if I had not.
