At this point in the season, there are plenty of free cards through programs at every position to build a team without spending even half of your 400K.
If you want to splurge, spend on hitting cards you know that have swings that you like.
For instance, I would not waste stubs on that Willie Mays 'Summer Program' card, as i don't hit well with him. Same as that new Manny Machado. -
Just get a decent deal on cards you want to try and use them. If you don’t like them, sell them and if you’re smart about it, you should at least get your money back and possibly make a few bucks.
