I’m very good at knowing when my opponent is going to steal. When I suspect he’s running I pitch out so I can nail him. Problem is 1/2 the time the runner is safe anyway. It doesn’t even matter who my catcher is - Could be Adley, Schwarber, doesn’t matter, It still happens. I think this should only happen with a absolutely horrendous throw. Quite honestly it should be automatic otherwise, The way it was in Tecmo Bowl if you guessed the right offensive play on defense and it was an auto sack.

99% of the time I pitchout against a live opponent they try to run back to first base.

I don't know if I've ever seen that in an actual game so I wonder why its even an option.

@Teak2112_MLBTS That’s an excellent point…Once you decide to go it’s 100% commitment to the attempt, There’s no going back. They absolutely should remove the option.

Sometimes if you get a bad jump and try to return your runner right away... The guy doesn't start to come back until he's 2/3 down the way to 2nd

@IrishFist412_MLBTS Streamer Gomes The Legend points this problem out everytime a new catcher is released and he's not wrong. It doesn't matter how good the catcher is defensively most of the time even on pitch outs the runner will be safe more times than not. Even CPU can steal on me 70% of the time a runner could have 75 speed 60 steal and still take a base no matter who I have behind the plate even if I get perfect release it's aggravating in 3 inning games in DQ.

The tag animations are terrible, if your jump is decent and you slide towards the OF (facing home) they will rarely throw you out.
