@SpcGarza_PSN Punctuation please. I think I understand what you're trying to say... but without proper punctuation, I can't say for certain. Also, please don't dilute the definition of "dictatorial."

You are the minority here.
MLB The Show MetaCritic User Ratings by Year:
2018- 6.3/10
2019- 7.4/10
2020- 6.8/10
2021- 4.4/10
2022- 5.4/10
2023- 6.3/10
2024- 4.3/10
2025- 5.3/10Must be a very rigorous rating scale... cuz I could swear 5.3's and 4.4's were not a sign of a good game.

Just give up because your not going to win, people have every right to use the settings that THEY want. You do not and will never have the right to tell people what settings they can use
-
@sbchamps17_NSW I didn't expect this to result in change lol... however, I do encourage people to give credit where it's due. I'm right and there's nothing wrong with that. I see a lot of defensive people who would be very sad if such a change was made. But this just mirrors politics. You can be presented with the most convincing and well articulated point of view, and still die at the stake for the dumb things you want.

So let’s compare your temper tantrum over nonsense to a real world example since you seem to want to compare this to steroid use.
If we follow your rules in MLB, every player has to use the exact same bat, exact same cleats, exact same gear - meaning no one can use any protective gear since that would possibly give them an unfair advantage. Every batter would have to stand in the exact same position, in the exact same spot in the box, take the exact same swing, and bat from the same side as everyone else. Pitchers would only be able to throw the exact same four pitches, throw with the same arm slot, the same velocity, and use the same windup. Remember, you want no one to have a supposed advantage and it all comes down to who can win using the exact same setup.
If you haven’t realized at this point that there’s nuance to playing a game and every player has a comfort zone and does what works best for them with the rules that are available, then I think it may be time for you to leave society and live on a compound by yourself or join a cult that believes everything exactly the same as you.
People have different comfort levels of how they want to play the game. There is no bonus for picking a specific setting, if this were the case, every streamer would be showing the bonus setup and every plebe would follow suit since they can’t think for themselves.
Get a grip and relax, or go start a cult. Either way, I’ll play how I want to play as long as SDS gives me those options.

@sbchamps17_NSW You have 3.8k posts!? Wow hahahahahaha.... of course you're against me coming after your fat, ugly girlfriend.

FYI some people that play this game have medical conditions like eye problems hence why they use Strikezone and timing or directional hitting. SDS taking that away will lose alot of people who play this game

Simple as that. Anytime I play someone who is using Strikezone or one of the zoomed in views, miraculously my ERA bloats from the high 2's to the low 6's. I could talk all day about this game having excessive home runs, too many random things happening outside of a player's control and every other flaw that drags it down, tarnishing their once sterling reputation... but I think much of that could be absolved if everyone had to play the game on an even playing field. No Strikezone, no timed or directional swinging... everyone plays the exact same way. No one uses Strikezone because it is visually pleasing. It's to get an unfair leg up on the competition and that's it. Ridiculous that this is allowed. It really ruins the experience.
I had a stroke. I am 50% legally blind in my right eye and only have 20% function in my right hand/arm.
Therefore, I need to use Directional as my hitting preference and Strike Zone as my viewing preference.
According to you; SDS shouldn't allow those options in H2H games.
You do know what that's called? If you don't; it's call Discrimination.
-
If the settings they're using are 'so superior'; then why don't you use them?
-
I guess your response to me may contain some derogatory remarks directed towards me. Since it seems that's how you reaping to people that don't agree with you

We want to facilitate discussions between players who may not see eye-to-eye, but we expect those discussions to be conducted in a respectful manner.
If anyone hasn't read the forum rules in a while, or ever, I invite you to look them over here: https://forums.theshow.com/topic/76046/forum-rules-code-of-conduct-please-read-before-posting
Let's be kind to each other. In the meantime, I'm locking this one.
