Face scans - existing franchise

Do they updates not update in existing franchises? I used a live roster to start. Nothing from the vault.
New Barger update looks fantastic. Went into franchise to see it wasn't updated.

If someone already has a face scan it’ll be updated even if you’ve started your franchise. But players that receive a face scan for the first time won’t be updated if you started when they were editable. I don’t know why they do it that way, but that’s how it’s been.

I’ll call them out for some terrible coding on this one. Hyseong Kim had the correct scan in DD but not in franchise. He doesn’t get updated. Roki Sasaski never had a face scan and was updated in the existing franchise.

@bleachfro_MLBTS thanks. Thats gotta be the case with Barger. He was fully editable (name audio blank, etc.) Now he isnt.

@jlower_PSN nope, that’s why I’ll never start a franchise and most likely won’t ever play this game again. Way too many players missing esp top prospects and guys who have been playing for a few years . Takes them way too long to add a few players and when they do they don’t even do it right. The only thing they update is DD programs. Everything else is secondary or neglected. You would think in 2025 they would figure out a way to fix this but who am I kidding. They can’t even get players in the game
