Is it normal for a player to pat the ball 5 times while doing a slow motion jog before they throw to the base to get the runner out ??

It’s not normal, but they’ll do it if they have a lot of time… just a dumb animation that’s in the game. In real life you’ll hardly see it unless the runner is really slow and the fielder is trying to act fancy or something.

@kingdutch_PSN I guess I’ll add this to the list of RNG animations lol… literally lost a game because my 3B took 10 minutes to throw the ball to first base
