I have 20/25 home runs for Nats, the OTR mission.
Jolt Wood has all 20, done early and I haven't used him in awhile,but recently have been trying again and have gone 30+ ABs now and he doesn't seem to want to hit anymore. got at least 3 triples and a bunch of doubles and avg hasn't dropped so I'm still hitting with him, just not out of the park. -

I had some rare time away from the farm tonight and fired 'er up in Conquest. I had read earlier today that PxP was increased for HRs? True?
If so, this is EASILY the worst night I have had so far where dudes that should be raking with PERFECT PERFECTs are just lining out or warning track-ing it. It's incredibly frustrating.

Anybody else experiencing this on ANY level of difficulty?
Also, SDS, please increase Kyle Tucker's SPD: he's hit multiple triples, has excellent running and defensive skills, yet he's got freaking [censored] near Rhys Hopkins speed. Please get this right.

Nah it's not just you, the CPU pitching is getting worse, balls just die in the outfield or go foul, perfect perfects are right at fielders and even the ones that seem like they should fall are caught by the superman outfielders.
I'm really getting tired of this years version of the show.
I had a great Diamond Quest going with a 65% chance to get Fielder while playing on Veteran, should have been a easy win but instead every ball I hit was at a fielder and the one time in the 5th inning when I thought I had a home run with Griffey went 2.1 inches wide of a home run..... of course Yellich won it in the bottom of inning with a bloop single that just fell in.
I bought Fielder because I didn't want to go through that again.
There is so much about this game that needs to be fixed and like I said earlier I'm lossing interest really quickly.

Well technically its that its getting better.
Pitchers lean into circle changes, sinkers, and sliders moreIn 24 where pitches would have been in the strike zone fully, they are on the black or just outside which leads to much worse contact.
I think pitches are breaking more too
On top of, that for those who just want to relax more, timing is definitely nerfed vs CPU. the ground ball rate on anything in the lower half of the zone has been pumped up, and fastballs are very unreliable with tons of weak contact and popups. It seems fine online though, which makes no sense because the pitcher quality is better

So basically they made the game harder and less rewarding for casual offline players. On top of that they nerfed pack odds and mostly killed flipping. This year was clearly catered to push to the above average/elite online player. If a player doesn’t fall into the second category it’s very likely they are unhappy with this year’s game. Meanwhile if someone is in the online elite category I’m sure they are thrilled with the game and rewards for their time and effort.

Jeezuz Christ. Get defensive a little? And I absolutely love how people think well-versed and cohesive thoughts are "rambling." Maybe actually provide something constructive (based around me simply asking for proof) instead of popping off.
Folks can have a general opinion and ask constructive questions, but God forbid there's any insinuation of the gameplay being frustrating.

I have to chuckle when I read all the follow-ups regarding "bitching and moaning and whining." Man, I must really have conveyed that in NO WAY SHAPE WHATSOVER in my original post. Being "frustrated," the last time I checked, was far from bitching.
I know what demographic I'm working with now and it's not anybody over the age of 30. (But if it is, you've got a long way to go.)

You are asking someone to argue against you using evidence when everything you have provided is anecdotal. There is nothing "defensive" about pointing this out. Not to mention there is a big difference between saying the game is "frustrating" of course it is, it's baseball. You fail over half the time and you're a hall of famer. And saying the game is broken or like some people that SDS has tuned hitting to stop you from getting an extra 80 PXP. It is absolutely ridiculous how many ppl crawl on this forum to cry that they lost a game.

It’s not just you OP. I’m experiencing the same things. This year’s game is just not it. I think years from now MLB 25 will be mentioned in the same breath as Superman 64, Redfall, ect….Just pop a gummy and enjoy it for what it is - A beautiful ascetically pleasing baseball game that has broken gameplay.

Hard disagree here. The developers want you to play their game. They want you to hit home runs. Why would bother to give 5x the points to nerf it? Cmon now.
Now, they do nerf packs, but they literally let you know the odds. They don’t hide that.
