We've had Kirby Puckett, Aubrey Huff, Albert Belle, and Lenny Dykstra; you can't really rule anyone out entirely, especially a name like Pete Rose. Yes, I am aware of Pete's many accusations and behaviors.

Why are we asking to honor people without any honor?
Joe Jackson admitted that he not only knew about the plan to throw the series, he admitted to taking $5K from those who made the fix. Pete Rose, in addition to gambling on games in which he was involved, had [censored] with a 15 year old when he was married with two children.
Hard no on both.

I think Shoeless Joe is fine cuz it happened so long ago but Rose needs at least another 10 years to gain his reputation back

My point is that SDS willfully ignores potential bad PR if they think it is possibly profitable enough, as scummy as it sounds.

@Jacob151167_XBL I’m pointing to you the exact opposite; SDS has been labeled snowflakes and woke because of the guys they took out. Only questionable characters in the game are still active and part of MLBPA. If Ozuna were a Legend, they would have taken him out.

It will all come down to Jackson & Rose’s estates. If they agree to whatever SDS offers then I believe both WILL be in the game in future editions.
To those arguing about SDS not using questionable players anymore because of some moral code lol…K, If this year’s game has shown us ANYTHING it’s that they will burn whatever they need to to make more money. If they determine that the sales would outweigh the bad press, Sony would pull the trigger in a second.
