How Was Your 2nd Weekend Classic Experience?

First go round, I made it up to Gold II (800-899) and went 4-2. I enjoyed the mode. The games were competitive outside of one I remember getting stomped.
This time, made it up to the Diamond division (900-999). With being busy Mother's Day weekend, I didn’t get to play until today and played all 6
All 6 on legend. My first game, I got matched against P5 Clemens, and a god squad being used by a really good player. 0-1
Won the next two games, one via a walkoff. That was awesome. My goal was to get at 4 wins
The 4th game was a heartbreaker. I should have won but threw an obvious, badly placed sinker and my opponent walked me off 2-1.
Ended up going 3-3 which I’m not mad at considering all games were on legend. Out of the April spotlight packs, I landed O’Neil Cruz and ended up making a good amount of stubs
Glad I avoided the weird issues I saw on Friday and Saturday.
How did you all fare this go round?

I really struggle online. I was in in Silver 1 division (500-599). Short story I went 2-4. I bounced back and forth between PS and Xbox. I won the first two games proceeded to lose the next 4. Two of them by the 10 run mercy rule. Sometimes you are the hammer other times the nail.

Just a suggestion but I’d turn off crossplay. I think it leads to better connections in H2H play
No matter your skill, some days you truly are the hammer and other times the nail

Won my first 4 games and then “lost connection with my opponent” twice. Had a few more of those but still made it to WS so I’m happy.

5-1, the one game I lost I out hit my opponent according to batter analysis and he got better luck with his good contacts. I lost 6-7 and hit two warning track balls in the 9th... I also had a inside ambush on a sinker with Witt that felt perfect but it was a routine flyout unfortunately.
First two games people quit after I scored a few rubs, 3 games were really sweaty and my last game was another easier opponent.
All games felt fine, no lag, no weird stuff and no [censored] cheesy opponents neither. The 6th game was at polo grounds and the speeds felt a little fast or like my hitting had lag. Something felt slightly off but I assume it was polo?
Overall pretty good. I was #2 on leader board after my 6 games

6-1 and sitting in fourth place. I am off tomorrow so I might hop on to preserve my top 5.
A weird thing went on with my Jon Donaldson card. I didn’t have his stamina recharged entering WC. No big deal, I figured I’d just throw him once anyway. I have a full staff of P5s when Clemens as my ace. But JonDon’s energy never improved the entire 7 game span. I lost with Shohei on the mound 3-2, hung a pitch and got punished. The guy also rubbed me of a home run. Was a great experience outside of not having my big lefty throw.

In Silver 1 lost my first two Was able to debut Clemens on the mound in game 3 after some DQ grind to get Witt. Ended up winning I think 3-2 or 4-3 on a walk off single from Judge in extras. Game 4 I had Gibson on the mound and some timely hitting to get a 4-2 victory even though pitch speeds felt super wonky all game. And Game 5 my opponent quit after one inning in a 0-0 game for whatever reason. I don't like playing online enough to try for the 6 BIAH packs, the Chase pack was all I was really after...and it was a gold Tommy Edman lol.

4-2. Had to quit one match as something came up. 800-899 division. Won my last game 10-0 in 6 innings

3-1. The other 2 I could have won but it wasn’t worth it since I completed MP anyway.

@raidingfridges_MLBTS yes i have it on all 3 systems, and only play with cross play off. He's correct you'll notice a difference almost instantly. Are there people with poopy internet yes you'll still have that but ultimately the pros of crossplay off far outweigh the cons.

Lost a game 2-1 in 10 innings i had 10 hits and my opponent had 1 , never played it after that lol

@yankblan_PSN The MP was already over so that wouldn't have mattered just FYI. For whatever reason they didn't continue it through weekend classic for this inning like they did the 1st inning.

Played one game, won 3-4 after a walkoff single by Trent Grisham. Overall had a fun time.

What do you guys do when you get in a round that’s laggy as hell ? I can’t do it and think I’m just going to start quitting. The game is ridiculous.

I went 4-2 in the highest silver league. I wasn't able to play all weekend so had to play all 6 games yesterday which was a little rough, but pretty happy with the outcome.
