How do so many people already have 3rd Inning Bosses?

I must be doing something wrong. The bosses are at 245K on the 3rd Inning path. I'm at 136K and I play a ton. And I even used the voucher for 30K.
The bosses are already down to 60K stubs so by the time I get there, I'll have no chance at making a decent profit.
Oh and I've mostly played a mix of Diamond Quest, the two conquests, and Play vs CPU.
I do now know about the exploit where you save your conquests at 1 last stronghold and carry it over to the next inning.
But I still don't think that would make a huge difference.
Anyone care to share their secrets? Understandable if you don't.

I'd rather just play the game at my pace and enjoy it as opposed to doing stuff just to make xp. I'll get there eventually

- MP Program has lots of XP if you don't clear it before
- New Conquest or New MS have it also
- If you clear them all, just play and spend your time

@dbub_PSN I didn't even grind hard Saturday or Sunday and I'm at 180K or so XP. I probably could have gotten to first boss via normal play with another 30 stadium challenges over saturday and sunday but I just wasn't into the all day grind this past weekend.

They likely had all of the city connect conquest maps finished except for the last ones. Thats 4500 XP each. Someone on here suggested this kind of thing was how people got them so fast and I bet they are right. I took a little of this advice and got the Kris Bryant mini season to the last regular season game and waited for season 3 to start. Then I got like 25k XP in a pretty short amount of time will all the different thresholds you hit by winning that thing. Now, I don’t care that much so that’s the only one I “gamed”, but with more effort, I could’ve done all this connect maps and there’s probably other stuff I’m overlooking. Thats, plus people have probably played a ton all weekend.
