I Keep getting fierce rival challenge

I build a two way player, and it has been six season in the game. Through all the game I'v played, I will get at least one fierce rival challenge each game(home run will receive five tokens), sometimes two or three. Another hitting player won't get this so often( I've played nine games and didn't get one). Is that just in two way players?
