    Why is it that when I’m playing the CPU, either the CPU fielders reaction times are that of Willie Mays, or all my baserunners have the speed of Bengie Molina?

    There is absolutely NO REASON that ANY runners should be getting thrown out EASILY at 2nd when a ball is hit into the gap or into the corner. This has been happening for years, and it’s so incredibly unrealistic. Even Wilmer Flores on my beloved Giants can hit doubles easily in real life, and he’s the polar opposite of Ricky Henderson.

    If you’re going to make the users fielders slower than David Ortiz playing center field and have the reaction time of a kid with ADD, you need to do the same for the CPU. I’m getting sick of it.

    I feel you, especially balls down the line. I truly think the reason is the AI fielders always run max speed toward a ball to field it. And this simply doesn't happen IRL. Because it's so hard to actually hit a double if you don't have like 80+ speed

    I've noticed this the most playing the rebuilding mini seasons, bronze fielders covering insane ground in those parks and making every diving catch is just ridiculous

    HEY, yes he was slow, but as an Angels fan, Bengie was my favorite Molina brother.

    Also, I keep getting Elly, PCA, and Ricky thrown out at second on rookie. Should not happen. They realized we're all playing small ball, because hitting sucks, so they nerfed that too.

    @broken_toy1_PSN you’re talking XBH or stolen bases? Because stolen bases has not changed. I still steal 2nd and 3rd at will.

    @yankblan_PSN I get thrown out in DQ more often than before, because of more slide-stepping (at least on Goat)

    Sonething in the last update messed up their jump. Watch how delayed some are now.

    @Ledfoot_19_PSN

    Yes for sure. The jumps are very much delayed most of the time and there are more successful CPU pickoffs. Guessing they saw people were stealing more to combat the nerfed hitting so they had to nerf steals too to slow down that grind. Super annoying.

    I've still been able to steal very easily against CPU with anyone over about 70 speed. No need to even take an extra lead off the base. Can't even remember the last time I was actually thrown out. I don't think anything has been nerfed.

    Lol I loved Bengie, too. He was a great Giant until Buster took over, so he’s my favorite Molina brother too. But I’m just being honest at how incredibly slow he was 😂

    And yeah, I get guys with 99 speed thrown out at 2nd too.

    I'm obviously not the only one. If you're getting through, that's awesome. Keep doing what you're doing. Maybe it's just us more mediocre players. However, mediocre means average, meaning most players. Gameplay is already bad this year, we learn how to get around bad hitting, so they nerf smallball. (base hits and steals) Makes a boring situation more boring.

    It’s literally impossible to hit a double with a guy who has speed under 50 unless it’s at Coors or hit into Triples Alley at Oracle. Such a joke. I got thrown out at 2nd at least a few times just today playing CPU again.
