How's your XP progress in Inning 2?
-
As I read these comments, I can't but help feeling exhausted and burned out just from y'alls insistence that it's been taxing like an actual job. And for those that have already been spinning the wheel, how the hell do you not feel this about 1000x more? I've mixed in several other games when I can actually play just so I don't feel like [censored] at the end of a gaming session...which should never be the goal.

444k, I would've gotten to the 2nd boss yesterday as I usually play a lot on Saturdays but just didn't feel like playing really.
I feel like I play a good bit so kind've wild I likely won't get 1 wheel spin.
I've almost completed multi inning, done all programs, all conquests but this past Friday, all showdowns, haven't done Kris Bryant mini season but don't really want to. I've done a number of diamond quests.
Honestly, Scott rolen being so unattainable and then the roster updates spiking up the live series I lost the urgency
I have 250k stubs and was saving for ohtani... Done with al but still need Soto, ketel, lindor, ohtani and tatis. Don't really want to endlessly play diamond quest to earn another million stubs

552k. Definitely less than the 1st inning, but that's to be expected with the TA stuff accounting for a lot of the 1st Inning XP.

I am pretty sure they know exactly how do dose the xp out during the inning. They could easily have given the Elly-program way more xp or put in another small program on Tuesday (beyond the spotlight) … Looks like they wanna keep the 2nd inning slightly lower …
Didn‘t we have two double-xp-stints? -
I know its 'cute' to call them innings in a baseball game, but I just think the length of these is way to short and thought the length of the "battle pass" or "season" (like NBA 2k does since people seem to struggle that sets are a different concept than seasons) or whatever else is a synonym for what is now an inning was perfect in MLB 23
But hey I guess nobody is complaining about the cap (which technically exists I think)...Is Pudgy Panda even hitting the cap this year?

Didn‘t we have two double-xp-stints?Yeah I am sure they do to. The XP in the 1st inning did seem to be huge. I was over a million. The way I look at it is the wheel is just a bonus and I doubt they expect people to be getting like 15 wheel spins.

I have not hit the cap this year. But I also played diamond quest on GOAT difficulty repeatedly for the first few weeks to get live series done quickly, so it’s not like I was trying. GOAT is really not a method for high XP. I never used to consistently hit it before 24. It was just relatively easy last year because of how absurdly low they made it. I finished the 1st inning at 2.2 million XP and am at 1.3 million XP so far in the 2nd inning.
-
@Pergo_MLBTS Exactly. Maybe this is just another „You do not have to get to the end“-thing. Get the two bosses, the rest is for the 10% of players who can play a lot (and have something to shoot for)
-
@YOSHI24_XBL Right, that's basically what I am thinking to.

I am just not a fan how they are doing the online reward path this year at all. I do love how they are doing the team affinity where you can just keep earning and earning but would love to see them add negro league or free agent section where you can get vouchers to use on any team affinity.
I agree not enough xp this inning. They over corrected way too much from the 1st inning. I suspect it will be corrected again in the 3rd inning .
-
How about juicing the pack odds a bit while they are at it. The lack of high diamonds is making people restless. They can be rare and not impossible at the same time.
-
Just hit the wheel first time and it was glitched bad. Every space was silver, the 6 spots showing the rewards were blank. I was supposed to get whatever is in in the top right corner but no pack in my inventory. Happened once in first inning. Submitted a ticket and got the generic visual bug email but never received that one either so I’m not holding my breath
-
What a buggy mess this year has been. I know all games have glitches but this year seems abnormally bad.

I'm inching my way towards my first wheel spin but the whole basis is to have a week of wheel spins while this inning I'm guess 30-40% won't get to ever one....the emphasis " spin that wheel" is a complete failure if that much of the player base won't even get to that aspect because of nerfed or lack of xp. It's a complete loss.....and the lack of players while others are getting multiple cards is also a loss. Potentially driving more people way. I wonder who they will correct this for next inning
-
@Dolenz_PSN Now you're seeing it Doly lol, how Ozzie is anything other than a diamond fielder in ANY form is a joke.
-
I’ve had one wheel spin, but probably had double in the first inning. Not having the team affinity xp or as much in the multiplayer program really made it difficult to move through the path this inning. If I barely made it through, lots of people aren’t going to finish it.

With 5 days left, I still haven't finished. I'm at 480k. At this point in Inning 1, I already had multiple wheel spins. I play a lot - I'm guessing more than the average player. I finished the multiplayer program, but there was a fraction of the XPs compared to last time. I have a lot of XPs remaining in the Bryant mini season, so I'll get there. It's just disheartening.
I'm usually one of the biggest cheerleaders out here for MLBTS. But this just doesn't feel right. Maybe I missed something this cycle and I should have been focusing on a different strategy. Anyway... Curious to see where you're at.
I've spun the wheel 3 times, gold deluxe pack the first time, silver headliner packs the other 2 times.

I’m at around 400k. I had some wheel spins in Inning 1. They’ve got to increase XP that you can get from playing games. It’s ridiculous how much it has been nerfed the last couple years from what it used to be. It’s 10-20% of what was possible about 3 years ago. I remember getting 15k from some games when it was double Xp. Not only is XP too low, but you can’t even grind stats versus the CPU like we used to, so it’s nerfed in that way too. I’m playing multiple offline games per day; I’ve completed every program except for Egg Hunt; I’ve completed a mini season. Finding it hard to want to play a game that just isn’t as rewarding or as fun as it once was. I told myself that I would stop playing this season when it became tedious and unrewarding. Not even to Inning 3 and I’m already considering quitting. I don’t have time to play 10 games per day. The Live Series is also too expensive to complete this year so far. The top diamonds are obviously being withheld more than the others this year. I stopped playing the other sports games because they became too expensive and too tedious. Just gonna do the same with MLB. I need to stop kidding myself.

I’m only about 400k. Definitely haven’t played as much this inning. Sort of just bored with it. Maybe with all the current good cards being so highly priced, or maybe the lack of diamond pulls - just not exciting. Hopefully it turns around soon.
