Genuine question, not saying it’s impossible to enjoy.

With most of the game being on all star, I just find the shift to HOF so steep. Games go from 9-6, 11-9 to such drastic pitchers duels.

I also feel like it makes the good input outs really stand out in a bad way. I don’t notice it as much on all star because I’m able to get a lot of good input, so a larger sample size of good input seems to “balance out”. On HOF, pitchers just dot the corners all game long (is pinpoint just too easy?) When you do finally get a mistake and nail it for a perfect perfect out it stings especially since those are rarer on HOF.

Yes, this post is partially because I just lost 1-0 which included my shohei getting robbed of a HR, but truthfully, even if I had won 1-0 I’d srill be here wondering why you guys like it.

    just it does take practice?

Do the good / perfect outs get super frustrating?

All of my upcoming Weekend Classic games will be on HOF, not exactly looking forward to my opponent and I conbining for 20+ Ks and just watching pitchers dot corners on perfect pinpoint input over and over.

I’ve made HOF twice since 21. Wish I could play it more, but I’m not good enough to beat enough guys to get there.

That’s the other thing, I hate the ping pong stage of going back and forth. My next game will likely be on all star, then if I win, back to HOF. Going back in forth makes it even harder to get into a rhythm.

I enjoy HOF way more than All-Star … Because the games up there are no slugfests (my games usually have 4-7 runs on average).
I feel like the games play way better because good pitching input has way more impact and leads to less fluke hits than All-Star

The more you play hall of fame the more you'll like it. It's just a better game.

@YOSHI24_XBL This is my experience, i love playing on HOF. HOF is pretty much where i top out and i feel like you get less flooky hits and you can really dot.

I can pitch well enough on HoF, I just can't hit for $hit. WAY behind everything...every so often I keyhole something if I'm looking in a specific spot but that's about it

same here … I look at it like this: Hitting a baseball is very hard. I am totally okay not mercying my opponents. It is totally satisfying to still win the games 🙂
